I forgot that She-Hulk broke the 4th wall in her own comic series. Sometimes it was arguing with her writers, sometimes it was just her saying to the audience "Get a load'a this guy", it just wasn't as blatant as Deadpool.

The Contest Of Champions is not only a game, it actually was a comic book series where Iron Man had to fight She-Hulk. The reference of her breaking the 4th wall is an actual reference to the fact that she was the first Marvel Character to break the 4th wall quite often long before Deadpool was a thought.

Why isn't there a She-hulk/Deadpool thing? Not slash fic or junk like that, I mean they seem like a great duo. Similar sense of humor, complimentary powers and skills, moral opposites, and potential sexual anti-tension hi-jinx as (for example) Wade gets thrown through walls for peeking on her in the shower. Marvel; make that a mini series or something. I still can't get the foul taste of the Deadpool Corps books out of my brain.

But, considering how Marvel ruined MvC: Infinite, then Capcom killed the game... there may never be. (Believe me, all Capcom has to do is announce DLC with Wolverine, Magneto, Doctor Doom, Deadpool, and some more Capcom characters, and that game will be right back in Evo. But it'll never happen...)

Came back to this after reading John Byrne's run on her. She was BIG into talking to her writer/artist & referencing the comics code authority. Also, John Byrne basically became a character in the book, including writing pages where character's complained about the story direction & having the editor of the book complain about John intrusively filling the book with Pin-up art of She-Hulk.
