That just means when you do something (like back + heavy) either 2 things will happen. If you're close you'll get a throw, if you're not in throw range (in Tasmaster's case) you'll get a shield skills. So you have an "option" so to speak.

AFAIK, it's a situation where the game's engine works out so that if your opponent is in one sitch, it does one move, and in another it does a different move... And this happens in your favor. For example, when Taskmaster does shield skills, it not only beats most normals in the game, it also will break throws if that's what the opponent goes for, and grab the opponent if you're close and they're not paying attention.

lets say you want to put someone in a combo or you already have them in a combo,if they do what you want them to do the that is an option,if they break away but you can still hit them with a special branch off your combo thats a 2nd option.so its basicly you setting up a combo with multiple options for situations..which is called option selects

In spite of that, you gotta admit, it is a really reaaaally good option, especially in a game where throws are 1 frame. Plus it can be made safe using certain assists. Its really good, its just that so many other characters have equally, if not cheaper stuff.

she's not bad. Her burning kicks are overheads which you can combo off, and for some reason, advance guard doesn't push her very far away. Pretty much if your'e in the corner against lvl 3 x-factor viper, you're gonna get opened up free. Of course she's better as a point character because with assists you can pretty much do whatever you want.

Unknown is a good player, but there is something about his team composition that's just stupid. I personally think viper and wesker on the same team is stupid, but if he simply replaced the order for Viper/Sent/Wesker or even Viper/Wesker/Sentinel he would do a lot better. And if he leveled up his viper more of course.
