Seriously, Xiaojun is one of the best vocalists in the industry right now. SM should feel really lucky about having Xiaojun. I honestly can't find anyone who sings with his voice texture.

The fact that WayV made the demo a million times better, thanks to their talents and valuable input. Kun's suggestion to add strings to the verse really adds so much depth to the song.

Blame it on SM. Since WayV's debut, they have always treated them poorly. Give them Chinese songs but no promotion on a major platform in China. The Chinese were unfamiliar with them, and Koreans and people all across the world did not listen to Chinese songs. Barely have a stage in both China and Korea, and they are always treated worse than other units. Many supporters are dissatisfied with how they are treated and departed. SM did not assist them flourish, and they were never properly promoted. WayV has no chance of success based on how SM promotes them.

This song is so complex and it was amazing seeing them dive in and create this masterpiece. I realized how difficult it actually must have been to sing such a unique song. The way Xiaojun’s vocals just hit the spot. And TEN. His voice brings it all together. And i think Hendery’s tone fit this vibe soooo perfectly! Also so proud of Yangyang mastering that rap verse 💚

saying wayv are the ones who need to get more recognition before getting better performance songs when the company has been the ones lacking with promotion and keeping them under the rader is a new low. wayv has always delivered excellent music performances and excellent songs, its not them who are the ones who need to do better. it's the companies job to promote their artist so they gain popularity, not the artist. wayv has always done excellent with what little they are given, with the proof of them knowing wayv's musical identity and adding to the song in a way that makes it their own and allows it to flourish, in the way their vocals and rap shine throughout the entire song. they deserve much, much more than label v and sm gives them.

The reason why the public doesn’t “know” them despite WayV showing great performances and discography is because SM does not promote them as much as the other units or at least in their main market. Love how WayV got to share their inputs in how to make the song better and have the WayV identity. Xiaojun’s vocals are crazyyyy! Also love how they’re making use of Hendery’s lower registers more and the vocal director really seems to like it.

Tbh, at first kinda felt a bit sad hearing the staff's comments but I do get where they're coming from. Thank goodness they reworked the song coz I'm with Ten that the demo was a bit too 'down'. And I knew that this song was challenging vocally but to see them record it, just wow. Xiaojun of course was amazing but Ten just keeps on improving leaps and bounds. He sounds so good. Def looking forward to his solo on Feb 13.

it's clear that they put a lot of effort into this. that's what strikes me the most. it's difficult to have a break-through so many years after debuting and you can tell that they're feeling the pressure. but ultimately it doesn't matter how good the music or performances are if the company doesn't find the right promotion strategy for their unusual situation. they're in an awkward situation between chinese and korean/ "international" market, which are not very compatible. until the company somehow resolves that they'll have to keep doing twice the work as others while gaining half the results. they're definitely making progress and i hope all the hard work will fully pay off one day! ♡´･ᴗ･`♡ also: dj in black with black hair 😍

Wayv are incredible performers and are loved around the world! They have performances that prove this! They literally did their job incredibly, and then had to do someone else's job to make the music sound more like them and that's not fair. I love how Yangyang developed his delivery of the 2nd verse from start to the end result. There's very significant changes and really showcases his expressiveness as a rapper without losing his vocal clarity. His delivery of the lines are clean and it's always impressive. I think On My Youth is really suitable for Ten’s vocal range . He is physically more relaxed in the studio for this song and his delivery was so so good. Both the singing and rapping is amazing. Excellent job my all-rounder bias 💜💜💜💜💜

이 곡 처음 들었을 때부터 샤오쥔이랑 텐 보컬 합이 미쳤다고 생각했는데 레코딩 영상으로 보니 더 멋지네... 특히 샤오쥔 도입부랑 Now your surface is cold 파트, nong wu san kai~ 파트 너무 좋고, 후반부 텐 It was all out of my control 파트에서 contol 음정이 꺾이는데 그 부분 표현이 미쳤음...

I'm once again amazed at their hard work. They're so attentive to detail and their input is so adequate and helpful, like Ten asking already on the performance, Kun dissecting the structure of the song, Yangyang thinking in the balance of it, Hendery stopping to rap only to go to practice the dance immediately, Winwin analysing the song through WayV's discography and Xiaojun making his parts even greater and more emotional than it was intended with his ideas. I feel so proud watching them work and deliver, WayV is truly a gem.
