Honestly, when I was a kid watching Arsenal for the first time I honestly thought Arsene Wenger owned the club because their name were so similar. So some kid 10 years from now may think the same about Emery.

The most important quality that Unai has shown is his courage, despite how difficult speaking in English was for him, he showed calm and courage and spoke much better English than what most of us fans can speak Spanish. Looking forward to next season 👍🏽

About Emery quit lying please, when it was only rumored that he was going to be the next PSG coach, almost every french football "specialists" dissed him, stated that a coach who "only" the EL (like french clubs already won it dozens of times)... They took any chance they had to disrespect him, even the smallest like the time he told Ben Arfa he's not Messi, they insulted him during weeks... And don't get me started on PSG fans, cause many of them are nothing but bandwagon fans and thinks Laurent Blanc was a better coach...

People criticizing his English should think how good they speak any other language first. It took me 4 years to learn English (Spanish is my native language) but my guess is that he will learn very quickly, his articulation is in the right place, the words he choose were not wrong in Spanish. He's thinking in Spanish and translating with a limited vocabulary. Once he learns to think in English and expands his vocabulary he will be set. So yeah...

MND17 His communication issues were because he speaks Spanish and French. Not everybody speaks multiple languages, not everyone speaks French y know what I mean. We're lucky that majority of our squad speaks both. The English guys will struggle a little bit but as long as someone can interpret his Spanish hell be fine

Shivam Chadha Not too hard to win domestic titles with PSG though. But I agree, it will be interesting to see what he can do with the team. He did a solid job at Sevilla so he's definitely a capable manager.

Not worried about his lack of English - football is a language in itself. 😆 Think this is the best we could have done under the circumstances. While a big name like Allegri would have been preferable, I don't think it's surprising that one of the elite managers weren't begging for the job after so long of Arsene in charge. After expecting the inexperienced Arteta for the past few days, this has me very excited for next season.

His impact on Sevilla FC during 2013-14-15 was simply jaw dropping and I am sure he will repeat it. I believe in his ; 1st season Europe League and FA cup titles, 2nd season champions league semi finals and premier league title and 3rd season champions league final and premier league title.

As a Man Utd supporter I think Unai Emery is something fresh and new to the Premier League just listening to his press conference the way he chose to approach it was impressive in 6 months when hes giving out about the press that will show how hard he works im sure his English will improve even if Arsenal dont but overall I think they did well replacing Wenger was always going to be tough..

This interview gave me more confidence than all the interviews of Mr. A. Wenger in recent years together. He's a very charismatic coach. I think his style of play and his philosophy fits perfectly with Arsenal right now. At least that's what Arsenal needed. COYG
