I've had one on my hip since October 2022. Chops through branches thicker than my arm and retains its edge pretty good. Haven't had to sharpen it yet. Saw teeth are pretty useless though, and they will ruin any sheath if you draw it at the wrong angle.

Yer, with you, if I had to choose, looking at the pack’s, the two big things in each, the big knife vs the hatchet. The knife looks like it could well hold up, the hatchet on the other hand, how it’s attached to the handle tells me, it won’t. With the head of the hatchet going though the handle with bolts or pins to hold it in place, and with the force of hitting thing’s to cut, the head will come lose pretty fast I think. Why do they insist on putting stupid multi tool features on tools for one purpose, just makes that tool weaker. I have an electric toothbrush with a bottle opener 😂.
