The toys were a great find. When my youngest son was about five I brought home a box of toys from a garage sale with things he liked in it. He sat down on the patio, dumped out the toys and announced that this was the best day in his life..lol…so funny. 👍💕

What a great find with the little people! You could go on ebay and price them out. I'm sure you will find that some are worth triple or even quadruple if what you paid. Sometimes though, items like these are priceless when you think about the joy they are going to bring. You are definitely the "cool" grandma.

I laughed out loud at the goblets because I have eight in my kitchen cabinet right now. I bought them (and matching tall glasses) in 1973 from Empire 5, 10, & 25 cent Store. I was a college student and have used them consistently ever since. I don’t want to jinx them, but they have held up very well for the last almost 50 years. So nice to see you excited about them.

Your Little People find made me remember the time when I was thrifting with my then toddler sons (they're 30 and 28 now!) and I found a huge bag of Brio trains, Brio tracks, Brio buildings and bridges, Brio EVERYTHING! The whole bag was less than $10!! They are SO expensive if bought new and it was probably the best thrift score, price-wise, that I ever had. Now my nieces little ones are enjoying them. Aw, 3:42 I would have wanted to take that dolly home, put her on my antique rocker in my bedroom.---Hmm, Little People obviously came about after my kids were grown! I've never heard of them until now!---I'm frequently taking something to my framer's, I provide the inspiration, he provides the clarity! $$$, but I get something exactly as I envisioned it (that sampler would have gotten a new frame! But how perfect is the spot?!)---I'm on duty again this holiday. Lots of sadness in the Hospice world this Season. I'm very thankful that I have the gift of GOOD-BYE for those families.---I'm envious of you Julie, and thankful that you let us into your world. I wish I wasn't so jealous, but of course I'm not gonna stop watching!!!

Then the Little People… our granddaughters who are now 18 and 13 loved them also! The 13 year old didn’t give them up until she was around 8 years old and then cried ! Of course now that she is 13…don’t talk about it…LOL!!!! My first cross stitch I did was the Serenity Prayer… how many times in our life have we said that prayer over and over…for me…1,000’s 🙏 I LOVE GOING THRIFTING WITH YOU.. I feel that we need to THANK YOU for taking us ! You are a great blessing in my life dear one…how I wish we could meet in person ! What a great find and price on the little people! If you want them to be able to use them in the tub without worrying about mold inside the toys, hot glue those little holes. I did that to toys my granddaughter likes to put in the tub. It works great.

I used to work (with my before she was my mother in law and after she became my mother in law- love the woman,) in an in home daycare and we would always be on the lookout for toys and the clothing and the like at Goodwill and Yard Sales. And when we found such treasures as you had we would wash the toys in a mesh laundry bag and run it in the dishwasher or the washing machine on the hottest setting or a big pot on the stove. sometimes it failed but we used it as a learning tool for the kids. Dang, knowing what I know now we should've bought stock in bleach and or Lysol and what not. Legos is what the group loved- the big "Duplo" pieces.

The little people spray painted white, attached to lids of glass canisters are very nice looking.

Love the Wexford goblets! A little word of warning. Although an initial washing in the dishwasher is fine, for regular use hand wash or they will eventually discolor. Which would be sad. Enjoyed you’re wonderful haul! ❤️

Your goblets are truly beautiful. My mother-in-law served iced tea, in hers, at every Sunday Dinner. I love cross stitch, all types of embroidery and tatting. It seems to be a lost art. Someone probably spent some time making that piece, it's really pretty. Have a Blessed 2022.

I know I'm a little old for it but I think I'd grab that train book and Adventures of Tom Sawyer (one of my favorites in school). Awesome find of the Little People. Worth the tedious cleaning lol. My daughter is grown but I babysit sometimes. I look for Fisher Price Loving Family dollhouse furniture and people for a dollhouse I picked up at Goodwill. A couple of times I found other treasures in the toy bags, such as a small Limoges box made in France. I collect cat figurines, and I also found one in a toy bag. There’s so much competition in the Phoenix area for anything popular on EBay, that I feel like I really scored lol.

Those lil people figures are awesome. Reminded me of Dumpster Diva. She goes to the bins and looks for these. She would oh so want them. Great haul. I like the way you insert how you use the stuff you get. Tc

I finally sat and watched your Christmas home tour, and I loved it! You decorate more like I do than any of the thrifters I watch. And girl! I saw you put back a small .99 chalky Santa the other day, and I yelled at you!! LOL. I buy those and wipe them down with Golden Oak stain by Minwax (my go to grundger), and it gives them a beautiful finish, that makes them look more high end. I have over 120 of them, and I tuck them around everywhere, and I have so many, I give them away (occasionally), ha, I LOVE THEM! Love your channel, Happy New Year!
