Croton is a diverse and complex taxonomic group of plants ranging from herbs and shrubs to trees.[3] A well-known member of this genus is Croton tiglium, a shrub native to Southeast Asia. It was first mentioned in European literature by Cristóbal Acosta in 1578 as lignum pavanae. The oil, used in herbal medicine as a violent purgative, is extracted from its seeds. Currently, it is considered unsafe and it is no longer listed in the pharmacopeias of many countries.
Croton is an extensive flowering plant genus in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. The plants of this genus were described and introduced to Europeans by Georg Eberhard Rumphius. The common names for this genus are rushfoil and croton, but the latter also refers to Codiaeum variegatum. The generic name comes from the Greek κρότος (krótos), which means "tick" and refers to the shape of the seeds of certain species.

Okay lang po sila kahit sa ulanan, matibay naman po si Paraiso, si Crotons naman rain and shine po siya outdoor plants

Ang potting mix po ay depende po sa lugar mo po or sa pwesto mopo, dito po kasi saakin sa Muntinlupa matindi po ang init kaya nagyon po ay hinahaluan kopo ng 20% cocopeat 50% loam soil at 30% ricehull

Rain and shine po ang mga CROTONS ko kahit po everyday maulan, make sure lang po na ang potting mix niya ay may halong pumice or rice hull 20%

Kailangan ba tlaga direkta sa araw? Yung croton airplane variety nabili ko nilagay ko sa labas parang tumamlay. Baka kakp masyado malaki paso. .. Or dahil di full sun ang exposure.

Tatamlay po ang dahon ni la pag uhaw po sila or root bound napo, kasi pang direct soil po talaga sila, Kaya pag naka Paso sila dapat malaki po talaga ang Paso pero dapat well drain po ang soil mix

Kasi ayaw din po nila na Hindi natutuyo ang potting mix nila, maglalagas po ang dahon pag ganun
