I am an asmr EXPERT when it comes to haircuts, barbers, etc. I’ve watched every one, the better ones over and over. I’ve closely observed every one. This video ought to gather a million views. And I have watched my “top five” hundreds of times, with their relaxing scissor cutting action, as well as general asmr features. I’ve just run across this one,and I pronounce it the BEST asmr hair cutting video of them all. Not only is it the most authentic (which has its merits) but it is very relaxing, and his technique is the best of all. This is my new #1 ASMR haircut video.

There’s something about the way barbers grab the comb with the shears. That light “clack” sound is the best asmr sound ever.

I used to go to a old school barber when I was a lad in shelfield in the west mids. We called him frank the butcher.. (he was actually very good) but very old school. I miss that level of professionalism xx

Ah, yes, Shelfield. I'm quite familiar with that area, as I used to frequent it with friends during the vibrant 80s and 90s. We would often visit the nightclub known as Harpers, which later underwent a name change to Dream. Those were truly the good ole' days, filled with unforgettable memories. Now, as a fellow Midlander, I find myself residing in a land far, far away from the bustling concrete jungles of urban towns. Life has taken me to a different place, but I cherish the nostalgic recollections of those lively times spent in Shelfield, Birmingham and the Midlands.

I just found your channel with this. I loved it! It was very relaxing. The clippers and hairdryer were a little harsh sounding for me but I know there's a lot of people that like it and not a lot of videos with it so it's cool to put it in there! If in the future, though you were to do a haircut just like this but without the clippers and hairdryer I wouldn't complain 😊

I love your suggestion of a haircutting video without clippers and hairdryer. Those sounds can be a little gruff on the ears. You're right though some people do like those items in this type of video. The sounds were a lot louder - I had to lower their volume in the editing. I've made note of your suggestion for a future video. Thanks!

Thanks for watching. I liked making this longer version. My cap is hanging on a hook in the office and my beard is off for now. My editing is really quite very basic. I know about 2.6% of the entire capabilities of the editing suite I use. There are far more people better at editing their ASMR videos than me. I'm learning all the time.

Some of the editing is a bit creepy and weird, but maybe some of that can be attributed to the background that looks like someone would soon be hanging themself... But I'm only like a third in and the sounds are actually pretty good so far. Edit: The quick cuts to you with double scissors are so strange. 🤣 Maybe you can get a wig or something so you don't have to air-comb with no sound? My only sound complaint so far is that the blow dryer was a bit too loud. Maybe turn it down in editing or have it back further or something. But otherwise I'd still say this is better than most haircut ASMR.

Thank you for your comment, and I'm glad to hear that the video was able to bring you a sense of calm. It's true that for some individuals, consuming excessive caffeine, such as in coffee, can potentially exacerbate panic attacks. I have personally experienced this unsettling effect as well. As a result, I limit my coffee intake to when I'm responding to comments on the channel, and that's usually the extent of my coffee consumption for the rest of the day.🙏
