Oh I was having nightmares at first remembering spending a night hanging around the King's Cross area 1am - 6am a couple of weeks back - could have done with a nice wee hotel like the Point A that night I tell you! :) Great review mate!

That's a nice place, indeed! The last hotel I've stayed at in London was The MacDonald, also mere steps from the 2 stations. You definitely made me add Great Northern and Point A to my radar. Poke!!!

Absolutely worth the price, I have paid £300 for a very very small room at Radisson Blu. Though the breakfast was outstanding.

Stayed at the Great Northern Hotel quite a few times in the 80's. We loved their buffet breakfast! Hope you get to stay there soon.

Thanks for this review Roger! We will definitely keep Point A in mind when we next head to London. We have been stung before by Premier Inn and the price of their P-hubs. Hope you had a good trip!

Hi Roger, you got a good bargain for a central London hotel, near King's X. Room, bar, looked fine, but a bit weird they didn't do bacon and eggs! Plenty of choice however, to suit all tastes! Will keep both Point A, and the Great Northern Hotel in mind for future London trips! 👍 😊

When you book the option is to get a reduced rate for a windowless room rather than offering a window as an upgrade (if that makes sense). 😂😂

I don’t get paid to promote anyone - not sure how you came to that conclusion.🤔 I paid for this hotel as I have paid for all trips on this channel with my own money! The breakfast was complimentary as they were doing a special offer on their website. 😀
