A lot, you can see the bait moving out of the way when the barra are swimming through. They could literally inhale heavily and breakfast is done

Have heard of a few cod but it will take a session or two in the right areas to even locate some before you can get a bite window on them. Worth it though i feel

Dean I keep saying the same thing, nice work mate 👍 I do have a question tho, you do spend a bit of time trying to get the fish back swimming the best you can but have you been in the position where the fish did no survived and what do you do ? Thanks again 👍

Thanks legend, much appreciated. I haven't yet had a freshwater fish that didn't swim off. We did have a saltwater one that was pretty much gone before it got into the boat and we tried to swim it but was unsuccessful so we took it home for a feed. It wasn't wasted, i hope i never have that issue with a fresh water one

Yes, absolutely but have to have a lure that doesn't sink very fast as most of the fish are less than 2m down

thats a tough one mate, the location and climate of he cod is hard to beat and ther is something special about them. But it is hard to go past the chaos that barramundi hook ups bring

Cheers Mate , We had Monduran , Awoonga, and kinchant on the radar to do 5 days at each but car problems have put us a couple of weeks behind, we can only fit in one of them now , trying to pick which one, so we can still make the NT for some run off before end of April, still 2 weeks away from getting our car back on the road🤬, cant wait to try some of that impoundment fishing 🎣🎣🎣🤙💪👍
