Geoff is amazing! He does the arrangement, production, editing, costume and set planning. No label, no manager, complete artistic control. He only started doing solo work during the pandemic while continuing with his acapella group Voiceplay.. Voiceplay did a full cover of The Dragonborn Comes/Skyrim that will have you climbing the walls. Guaranteed! Subscribed in anticipation of more Geoff and Voiceplay.

Loved your reaction to Geoff! He is an amazing musician and vocalist, with a 5 octave range and incredible skills. He arranges, films, edits, etc. all his videos, with an impeccable attention to detail. In his other musical identity, he's the bass in an awesome acapella group called Voiceplay. They recently released a cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters that has rocked reactors and fans. Before that was Dream On, The Dragonborn Comes (Skyrim!), Hoist the Colours, Warriors, Carry On Wayward Son... and so many more.

If you like Skyrim, you need to listen to VoicePlay's Dragonborn Comes. Geoff arranged it and he hits the depths... and everyone else is fabulous. Of course, if you're looking for his lowest recorded note, that's in the VoicePlay version of the Halo theme song, B0. But you gotta' listen, cause everyone is singing with on that one.

Geoff is part of an acapella group called voiceplay. They are equally as impressive as geoffs solo works. He sometimes does the arrangement for the group as well. You should check out my mother told me , the dragonborn born comes , hoist the colors and definitely check out the most recent covers. Metallica's nothing else matters

I enjoyed your reaction and appreciation of Geoff Castellucci so much I am a new subscriber to your channel looking foward to more of your reactions to Geoff Castellucci and his acapella group 'Voice Play'. I know you will absolutely love Geoff as a Viking foghorn in Voice Play's "My Mother Told Me" and you will also love Voice Play's cover of "Dragonborn Comes' from 'Skyrim'. They are a group from Orlando Florida with experience working as performers for Universal and/or Disney theme parks (Geoff and his wife worked the "Beetlejuice Graveyard Review" for many years at Universal). They do all of their own arrangements and production and put so much into their costumes, makeup, settings, lighting and such. You are in for a wonderful journey with Voice Play and Geoff's solo channel.

Thank you for a priceless reaction to Geoff Castallucci. He belongs to a group called Voice Play. They are known as The Theater Kids of a capella. He & 3 other original members worked at Disney for 10 years putting on shows. If you love video games then you must ( please, please ) do a reaction video of Voice Plays cover The Dragonborn Comes Skyrim. Also Their cover of Halo, the theme song from the video Halo. Also Voice Plays cover of Enemy from Imagine Dragons & Warriors also from Imagine Dragons. You will be amazed. ...At the end of Their cover of Halo Scott Porter pays homage to a fallen comrade who inspired them to always creat through the game. Please don't cut it short. Never stop a video from Voice Play before the credits roll.

0:50 A realistic version of skyrim you say, you should see what this guy did with his acapella group voiceplay, they covered the theme for Skyrim, spiced it up without losing the original vision. They mashed one of the bard songs with the actual main theme, using the lyrics in the dragon's language and all, and they actually nailed the pronunciation on it (as far as I know I am no expert of skyrim dragon dialect)

Looks like everyone has said most everything I would say about Geoff. I would suggest checking out 'Blackbird' on his channel to see his range. As has been said, he sings the bass part for VoicePlay - and can actually sound just like a bass guitar when needed. The tone of his voice is awesome. He's not just 'how low can he go', even tho' he can go really low. It's how high he can sing (still with that great tone) that I find unbelievable. One song suggestion that I personally love and don't see here yet, is 'Queen in 5 minutes' It's a couple years old and 2 of the singers have left since then but it is amazing and shows off ALL of them SO well. And it includes quite a nice higher point from Geoff as well. IF you check out VoicePlay - you'll find they also have a very funny playful side. Their 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' is quite 'playful'. By the way, they've done a couple really good rock covers, something unusual for a cappella. It helps that Eli has a great 'rock tenor' voice (along with other music styles) I considerably enjoyed your reaction. I'm subscribing and off to watch a few more of your reactions now! See what else you have covered. Thanks for your KZfaq channel. I'm very happy you popped up today. I guess because you were reacting to Geoff. Can't wait to explore your channel!

When the kids were little I used to read The Hobbit to them at bed-time. Who could have known in the early 80's what an entertainment empire would grow from Mr. Tolkien's stories. The movies and songs, etc. The thing I like best about this particular cover by Mr. Castellucci is that his arrangement reflects the *sorrow* the Dwarves felt as they recalled being forced to leave their ancestral homes. Fiction at it's best, I'd say. What an exceptional read and well worth the time. :)

Geoff has a unique (in my opinion) voice where his low chest notes are a lot thicker than his normal voice almost 100% of the time. Even down to F#1s (not this song) and his F1 chest (his lowest but i havent heard it yet) probably followa the same pattern.

If ya'll think he's low here or in Oogie Boogie Song... There are two recent Voiceplay covers (Valhalla Calling and the Halo theme, which the original composer said might be his favorite cover) where he hits a B0. For reference, the lowest note on a piano is an A0; bass guitars usually tap out around E1. The craziest thing is that he can still get up to, like, the 4th octave. In his newer stuff (like his other Hobbit cover, I See Fire) he just straight up sings the tenor part like it's not even a stretch. He's also be known to slide across multiple octaves (Hoist the Colors, Poor Unfortunate Souls in their Little Mermaid medly, probably more).

Hope you see this - it has been awhile. I'm just dropping by to point you towards VoicePlay's newest song. It premiered last Friday. If you think Geoff's low are impressive on "Far Over Misty Mountains" you will find the new song even more astonishing. Even if you don't do a reaction, I think you would enjoy listening for yourself. The song is "Valhalla Calling" and it is EPIC! I do hope you consider reacting to it, as I would really love to hear what you say about the beatboxing. To me, it sounds incredible, but you are much better informed than I am on the subject. But everyone in the group sounds great and (in this case) fierce!
