Unbelievable! The Worst Plasma Cutter I Have Reviewed so far ?

As a seasoned user of plasma cutters, I was initially disappointed with my experience with the Viv Arc plasma cutter. Despite proper assembly, the machine failed to produce an arc and make a cut, leading to a lot of frustration. When I reached out to the manufacturer for support, I was disappointed with their lack of responsiveness . All I wanted was a replacement unit so I could do my review. However, after contacting Amazon, I was impressed with their commitment to customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of the issue through a full refund. I cannot speak to the reliability of the Viv Arc plasma cutter because I never got to test it properly from what I have seen I would NOT recommend this unit as there are plenty of great plasma cutters available at same price see my links below for great machines.

Thanks for Checking out these cheap cutters, Pete! I just bought the Bestarc after watching your review. I noticed a small black smudge on the consumable tip that leads me to believe the machine was quickly tested before it was packaged at the factory. Too bad this unit didn't get the same treatment. Pita!

Hey Pete, I have a similar model to that one (the orange version, same machine) and my pilot arc screw didn't ever come close to screwing tight to the connector straight out of the box. I added a brass washer and it cuts pretty well now. Also using generic aftermarket tips, but I wouldn't doubt something probably didn't survive shipping very well. Glad you got your beans back from Amazon though!

Ya my vevor cut50 pilot Arc needed spark gap opened up after a few minutes use. Working now.

Pete, I have an AMICO cut 60 and I have the regular chineesium torch and I bought a whole box of consumibles and if I finger tighten the electrodes down it won't arc, but if I leave it just a tiny bit loose, it works. Try that

When the tip lights the arc goes out in the machine, that to me says it’s not travelling up the torch? I don’t know how they work but could possibly try a new torch and wire from the machine up

I was thinking you were going to try your pilot arc technique where you wrap a wire around it etc. bump the air pressure up to 80+ and giver a go!

Hi Pete, love the videos you make. I've learned heaps. Have you come across the Weldtech 35A Inverter Plasma Cutter (WTP35A)? Curious to know what you think of them as considering buying one. Cheers mate.

Is it just the pilot arc functionality or won't it arc across a piece of steel with the ground clamp connected?

Whoa, that’s not good. I was looking to get a bestarc after looking at all the reviews that is best for my budget. While looking on Amazon at it I seen there is a 3rd generation put out last year for 50.00 more. The only difference I see between the two is the newer one has 2t-4t. Since I don’t know jack about a plasma cutter, do you think I should get the 3rd generation? I’m the type that would rather have more than I need than not enough,lol. What do you think?

Could it be in the ground up to the the torch

Did you try using it as where you have to touch the metal to see if it will fire maybe something wrong with pilot arc maybe you need to contact the metal with the torch !!!!!

Too bad there isn't a simple or obvious fix. I'm wondering if maybe it could be the torch or consumables somehow.?

Hi there pete. ..i just bought this same machine off Amazon $200 us dollars...does the exact same thing yours is doing...i thought it was just made to work that way. So i should contact Amazon??
