I did a rope bridge in Ireland. I was the only one that looked down. Went to Gatlinburg as a kid. The Gateway to the Smokies. This was a while ago. No theme parks yet. We hiked the Appalachian Trail and went to a World's Fair in Knoxville. As someone who grew up and lives at the foot of the Appalachians a little further up the range, I feel conflicted about this. But you can't stop progress and neither should we.

This looks amazing. I've given some thought to visiting Tennessee, but this gives us another reason for going. Thanks so much!

We went in 2020 and loved it there! Pro--if you like birds, make sure you check out Parrot Mountain over near Dollywood. We love that place too!

Yeah it is beautiful up there but that ride up is absolutely terrifying. I took the Ridge Rambler back down. So glad they had that option.

Wow!!! Considering the price for admission, and the food shown, if I was local, this looks like it would be really cool for a date night. Are the eateries up at the top so you could have dinner and a few drinks at the top, then walk through the trees, and then go to the light show?

Pro, we love videos on tourist destinations from all over but the music you're using is competing with your information. Just thought I'd throw it out there, sometimes ambient sound is just a better viewing experience. Great job on all your information though!

Huh...kinda reminds me of an old theme park I used to enjoy going to..Ghost Town in the Sky, it was a wild west themed thing on a mountain in Maggie Valley NC...it's been shut down for decades now, there were rumors it was coming back as someone wanted to bring it back...but it never went anywhere sadly...I'd love to go back to Ghost Town in the Sky...I have some old beta tape camcorder home movies of my time there with my mom, stepdad, and my mom's parents....not a whole lot of western themed stuff for a fan of the old west unless I head out of my home state by a good ways..Maggie Valley NC wasn't more than a couple hours drive from my home..

And now I know you're not from TN! People in NC and TN call then the App-a-LATCH-in mountains :)

We decided a year ago that after 20 years of exclusively traveling from Australia to Disneyland that we are going to Pigeon Forge. We know we are gonna LOVE it. Get stuffed Disney, over your customer screwing, audience hating shenanigans

So just how many non-US theme parks have you guys visited? An early comment to the effect that something was 'the best in the US and therefore the world' leads me to believe neither of you has done much overseas travel. Theme & amusement parks all over the world are unique and each offers something the others do not. The parks in the US are good for US families I suppose but in many, if not most, categories, strive to meet their overseas competition. I've seen Disney parks in the US out-themed by a park in Germany and the Netherlands; I've been on thrill rides in Australia that have no match in the US; the food is much better in just about every park I've been to outside the US when compared to the offerings available in the US. BTW: Disney lawyers are some of the most aggressive in the world - Florida doesn't stand a chance.

It's boring and expensive

Was there 2 days ago. TOTAL was of time & money! 2 1/2 hour wait to get on bus or sky lift up there, then over crowded, nothing but uphill walking (especially the tower up there) and it cost $112. bucks for 6 hot dogs & 4 cokes! AND there was a long wait to pay, and an even longer wait online to pick up your food, which they made when you got to the pickup window! Earlier we went on a sky lift across the street which was cheaper, not crowded, not much waiting and the same exact view of the area. Screw that place! The only damper on our vacation!🤬🤬🤬
