One of the best examples around. No traction control, which is a good thing (at this age they tend to go into limp mode and few mechanics are left who can fix it). It also doesn't have the rear SLS suspension and that means it's simpler to keep going. I would prefer a black interior but the gray is okay and not as hot in the summer months. This one will sell quickly.

MaryAnn, elegant and sophisticated. I expected nothing else. Great presentation.👍 One of the very last true old Mercedes. A very nice W126. Obviously outstanding condition. Well pampered and for sure best maintained and serviced. Only one owner since new, and with under 50k miles and compared to its age a relatively "low mileage" example. Positive: You can enjoy this classy Benz for the next 150k miles or 30 years. Negative: This near to perfect car is much too nice to be driven. Numbers matching. All stickers. Original body panels. Complete tool set. Untouched. Bone stock. Not stupid customized. One of the best colour combos. For short: In my honest opinion it has true collector qualities. In regards to the flagship 560 SEL, is there a big difference in the performance? By the way I'm always impressed what wonderful cars you find. You and the team do a very good job. Congratulations.

I didn’t fully appreciate this generation of Mercedes-Benz when they were new but boy do I now. These things were so over-built and tough that I don’t think a nuclear attack could hurt them. This one sure is a beauty, too. I hope it finds a great home.

Yep. Except for the fuel injection. The timing chain. The chain tensioner. The Fuel pump relay. The idle control relay. The auto HVAC system. The......you haven't owned one have you?

The w126 is one of Mercedes most reliable engines this is when they actually made quality cars. But Original miles my ass. Hopefully there is documentation and service records otherwise the mileage is suspect

The oil pump of this car is indicating a need for change, check time signature 5:48, after it has been started, the oil gauge should be up to 3. I learnt the hard way on my W124, this resulted in my car knocking the engine

@@AutohausofNaples it's one of my favorite cars but you can disagree. Constant repairs. Head gaskets, fuel injectors, water pump, transmission seals, power steering, shocks, radiator etc. Labor cost is stupid ridiculous.
