Jem what i do with my wipes i dry them out then put them with paper for the recycling as that what wipes are is paper just wish everybody done the same unless they have bodily fluids on them and that has to go in the waste bin for the rubbish .Hope you get the job for changing the pipe but rhat wii be a big job .

Let's hope the landlord says yes to the repair work,it'll be interesting to see just how badly that s bend is damaged,bet there's still bits of cast iron trapped, shoddy work from whomever did the initial job

Jem mate just ignore all the negative comments about the disinfectant because at the end of the day you lot @ Mersey rod do a much more thorough and better cleanup than some drain companies and it’s a more professional job. No idea why there are people on here who are so concerned about the disinfectant where as I’d be more concerned about the amount of chemicals and crap that ignorant people flush down the toilet in the first place! Good work Jem and Mersey Rod if I lived in the Liverpool area I would defo get you guys out! 👍🏻

Jenny does a great job with the edits. Watching the tripod antics was hilarious. Most of your vids are looking down, so you might need a tripod setup that can handle this requirement, especially with an ability to reach over and look down with the GoPro.

Jem…..just a thought about your disinfectant usage fella. Maybe you could make up a 10-20% disinfectant/water dilution, using the empty plastic disinfectant cans to put the mix in. Stick maybe 15-20 in your van, so when you get to a job, especially where there’s no outside tap, you’ve got pre-made cleaner already made up 👍🏻 Also, you can monitor how much you’re using a lot more accurately !!!!!! Just a thought fella 🙏🏻🤘🏻

Got an idea mate...... might be an idea to make a bid for the company that makes the disinfectant. Owning the company could cut your cleaning costs massively in time!! The new disinfectant will be called Jem's special mix. (PS you have 10,000 viewers the day this vid went out! wow!)

In your work, since you usually have a bucket, maybe a flexible mount that clamps to the bucket would work better to aim the camera into manholes. You can put water in the bucket to make it more stable. I be interested to know what the directions are on the disinfectant. Most I've seen say clean up the bulk of the mess and spray the disinfectant/deodorizer after that.

We love your videos Jem. Me and the family save them all and binge watch about 5 videos on a Saturday night. Big tub of popcorn or just corn straight off the cob but have to use some wet wipes to wipe the butter from round your gob. Who needs netflix when you have jetter 1 to watch. Oh one other thing, having had a few blockages with ours over the years, I would definitely say you dont use too much disinfectant. I dont think you can ever use too much.

Jem, you make drain cleaning such great entertainment. Jenny, the comment about the older generation and technology, I'm quite a bit older, 65, than Jem and I can use a tripod. Maybe it's all those years of him sticking his head in manholes that did it.

Tell Jem the Open University do tripod courses. There's the History of Tripods from Greek to Modern Times, there's also Practical Tripoding (Theory & Practical) as well as Advanced Creative Tripoding. One of those should suit 😉
