@@nattyw495 oh thanks for the tip Natty! 🤗💖✨ I’ll try using the sandpaper (why couldn’t I think of that word??) to try sharpening pencils. I looked up the Sharpie markers and they are “water-based acrylic”. I’m sure they are available for you. Thanks for watching! 🤗💖✨

After I watched your video I went to ytube to see more info on the creative sharpies and they are available for 20.00usa$ at walmart they have two different nib sizes ,a nub style and brush style the kind you have come in set of 12. I like them I'd like to see your opinion of them when you use them for art work I can see them being better on paper than posca as posca seems to be better for rocks glass wood , for twenty usa dollars they seem like a good deal and dot artists might like this as alternative to posca if they are on a tight budget, the creative sharpies do good if you need to coat your rocks with clear liquitex no smudging or ruining your art rock piece after being coated. I'm wondering if the sharpies are good on gelli printing plate? Poscas pens do goodon gelli printing plate and I know you can use sharpies on them also and baby oil will wipe it off I'm gonna have to ask at art hang if anyone has tried the two combinations together.. Also I'm interested in the black wing pencil I like to learn your opinion on that blackwing pencil are they really that different from a derwent grahite pencil? I like the shape of the eraser on the blackwing penci.

@@nattyw495 I’ll be using the markers at AHP this week so you can see them in action! I haven’t sharpened the blackwing pencil yes, but I do use the blackwing matte pencil as my go to and really like it. I don’t know if I can explain why, haha, maybe just that it’s on the softer side. I haven’t tried a derwent pencil yet…

A lovely gift! Can confirm the markers are great! I’ve a had few solid plays with them (once at Weirdo Drawing Club!) and they are very juicy and so matte. I still need to compare them to poscas though. I think my only complaint that isn’t really a complaint is that they dry SO FAST there’s little opportunity for blending
