Hello, thank you for commenting. Great to hear your last pair lasted 11 years. I hope my new ones last a long time and the quality is the same (unlike Hunters which went downhill!). Yes - I was also considering Le Chameaus but pleased I went for the Aigles as my calves aren't big.

I think you'll be fine my new Aigles feel the same as my older pair they just have the newer logo like yours I think mine lasted mostly because every month I cleaned them properly and sprayed them with a silicone polish either Aigle swipol or Armor All rubber protectant ( from Amazon or Halfords ) and never leave them near a radiator or out in the sun. As for Hunters they definitely aren't what they used to be since moving production to China , I don't think they are even made from rubber they seem to feel more like plastic and the sizes are made to use their boot socks then just normal socks sad really that they went downhill so quickly.

@@KaiDuncan Gosh, didn't even realise you could clean welly boots properly. Mine are constantly covered in mud, but I sometimes scrub the mud off with water and a stiff brush. Thank you - I'm going to buy a proper cleaner to look after them now :)

Hello, thank you for commenting / asking. These welly boots have held up really well. I wore them last summer (ground was still muddy) then swear it’s been raining everyday for at least eight months now, so they have been well used. But still 100% waterproof and very comfortable.

Thank you, I love them :) I would say that it's always better to size up with welly boots so then you can wear thick socks etc. I am size 6.5 UK and bought size 7.

I have bought them to wear at the stables. They are comfortable enough for countryside walks too.

Hello, thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear your ones have already fallen apart... but mine are still lasting well - no damage and I have been wearing them a lot (raining all summer in the UK).

You can walk for hours in them and the grip on the sole is just as good as a walking boot.

I would say they would be comfortable. Obviously if it's rocky and treacherous then proper walking boots would provide more ankle support.

But they are also more expensive! So I haven't tried le chameau yet. :)
