Unboxing Bibles: My New Journaling Bible (Plus Two Kiddo Bibles - One Boy, One Girl)

Based on the the inspiration and recommendations of @freespiritshines and @cross_creatives I bought a new journaling Bible This NIV single column leather journal Bible is so pretty and I loved buying something slightly imperfect and saving quite a bite of money! I also bought some tabs and a new Adventure Bible for my son as well as a bible to give my niece for her 10th birthday this October.
There's so much wonderful stuff on the ‪@christianbook‬ website and I was so impressed with the quality of my slightly imperfect bible and the speed of their shipping! I ordered Thursday night (06/18) and received it Monday (06/22).

Such a wonderful Bible haul! ❤️ The Bibles you purchased for your niece and son are cute. I’ve never seen Bible story tabs! Those are very interesting. Love that leather on that journaling Bible! Enjoy & thanks for sharing! ❤️

I've never seen a bible like that heart one for your niece and how gorgious! My kids have that same Adventure bible and they all Love it I didn't know you can get those cute little tabs we just use our gold tabs I'm definitely gonna have too check in on buying those tabs for all 4 of my kiddos I think they would really enjoy that. Thank you so much for sharing!

I hope you also show us how you attach the tabs and also update us on how you like the new journaling bible. And also your son too. I have never ordered from CB but they have such a good selection. I was also hesitant to use their imperfect section but might have to look now. Thanks!!!

Yes I have a few bible tab videos coming. Hopefully I’ll get them all up in July! And I’ll update on my Bible too!

What great choices! And I think the coloring tabs are so cute. I have one of the NLT journaling bibles. It took me months to figure out what I wanted and I like it, but it is large and heavy though, but I did make a leather folio type cover for it so it does look nice. I just don’t use it as much as I thought I would. I can recommend the Mr Pen highlighters. They work very well. absolutely No bleed through. They go on to the page like crayons, waxy and a little sticky to the touch, but then eventually It dries and feels smooth. No transfer to the facing page.

@@JustScribble I’m backtracking on my Recommendation for mr pen. I love the lighter colors but now that the warmer weather is here, it seems like the darker colors are Waxier and bolder. Not terrible, but I’m going to start using my crayola twist crayons. I’ll have to revisit the mr pen highlighters in the fall

What great gifts for your kids! And getting them into being organized, and loving their bibles! I would love to see you do a video on what size bible will fit into what size Chic Sparrow, and type sizes for those of us that need larger print, and different types of bible styles. Comparing things visually would be very helpful!

I do have a couple of other Bible videos (there's a Bibles playlist on my Playlist tab) where I do share how some fit in different Sparrows. But as I acquire Bibles that fit I'll be sharing them.

I’ve had my I on that leather wrap journaling Bible for years 😀. I just didn’t realize that CBD has a 2nd chance section🤷‍♀️. Now I know. I really like the kids adventure Bibles they are so colorful and easy to read. It’s too bad my kids are so much older😁. Thank you for sharing, I hope you enjoy your new addition💗🤗!

I had no idea about it until Victoria told me. It's got some great savings in there - especially nice for those of us that getting Bible collections going to have different translations and study options on-hand. Definitely watch for the leather wrap Bibles on the imperfect section - the translations offered sometimes change but I think if you keep watching you'll find what you are looking for! He pulled out his new Bible this morning and showed daddy! He's loving the colorful pages. Now to add all those tabs!!!
