That looks like a very interesting battle and magazine. Thank you for presenting this. My father has been gaming since the late 1970's when he was a teenager. So he taught us to play games beginning with Risk. Yes, I know. My brothers laugh when my sisters and I play Risk but the diplomacy and backstabbing is incredible.

Thanks for this overview - It looks like RBM Studio are moving away from being a 'GMT magazine' and GMT are now doing their own yearly errata countersheet. As a bonus it looks like this is allowing C3i to include more of their own game content.

Thanks for this unzipping/unfolding/unwrapping/revealing/what have thee. The Dunnigan game on Metz 1944 is a bit of a surprise, as a previous issue of C3i (when it was wholly a GMT in-house organ though printed by RBM) had the same game. One assumes it's been updated, as it first appeared in Dunnigan's wargame handbook (1980), then a Victory Points Game product (2008), and then in C3i issue #20. Different issuing, different iterations, some counters in one version but not in another, some new scenarios appearing as well. It will be interesting to see what's changed in the version enclosed in this issue.

Great video. Three games in one magazine is indeed a good value. Have to go to Noble Knight and grab this one when it’s available.

Maybe this is obvious, but just in case someone else gets confused by the same thing: "Rebel Fury" hasn't even hit stores yet, so how can there already be errata counters for it? Mysterious! Solution: these actually aren't for "Rebel Fury," which doesn't contain a Gettysburg battle. Instead they're for Mark Herman's "Gettysburg," which came in C3i #32 and was reprinted as a C3i "deluxe" boxed game. "Gettysburg" is the basis for the "Rebel Fury" system, and these counters upgrade "Gettysburg" to match "Rebel Fury."

Seeing your unboxing reassures me that my copy will be delivered soon, since I am in the same metropolitan area. Thanks for the preview!

I think this was a slightly advanced copy, but they’ll ship very soon based on what Roger said.

And there was a bit of delay in the production, as noted on their website a few weeks back

@@chinapoliticsfromtheprovin6133 A few weeks ago, they sent at least two email updates regarding shipping.

This was a preview copy, Roger said he’s getting them in to the warehouse either today or next week, and then they’ll ship, so you might be like 10-15 days out?
