Hello Mattias. I think I saw your review on the seller's page! I have ordered a custom made guitar from the same seller about a month ago. It's good to see that it is a real product, as I have not gotten really any updates on the build. I'll probably get my guitar at some point. Hälsningar från Finland!

That´s great! In my experience you really have to ask for updates all the time. I have put down two customized orders and of the two seller this one I hade the hardest to get updates from. But keep asking for it and I´m sure you´ll get it. Can I ask about your order? :)

Yeah, I've been asking about updates throughout the build process and mostly the answers are that he'll give me pictures once he visits the factory. Two weeks ago he told me that they are applying the basecoat. My order is basically a Les Paul custom with my own logo and design on the headstock, with a satin neck in my personal specs and a nitro gloss body. Can't wait to see at least a picture of the guitar.

Put a super distortion in the bridge and 500ohm pots and good wiring and toggle switch adjust the neck good strings and bingo its cold gin time again

Congrats on your new Chibson. I have 5 Gibson LP's but I thought I would get a Chibson just for the heck of it. $200 and free shipping, my Chibson LP arrived. For the money it's a really nice guitar. Looks good plays good. I got a good one.

Congrats to you for getting a good one! I have limited experience with Chibsons but it seems like it’s a little bit of a gamble. My custom was great out of the box but the budokan will need some attention. My next video will feature a supposedly high quality Chibson, se will see. Thanks for your comment and rock on!

I got a black Ace Chibson about 6-7 years ago. While it looked good it was complete rubbish to play.

I think you have been unlucky with that one especially as it was a custom order. Curiosity got the better of me and I bought one, took 6 weeks to arrive, during that 6 weeks I wondered if it was a scam as the seller didn't bother to fill in the tracking information. It did arrive within the estimated delivery time much to my relief and is perfect, better than I ever expected. You take a chance on these and if you are prepared to do some work on them they are good. Thank you for posting the more information on these the better.

Thanks for sharing your story! Yes, it always feels like a gamble when you order these guitars but , as you wrote, the curiosity-factor is high which have resulted in me buying eight(!) guitars in one month. I will post unboxing and follow-up videos on all of them so keep tuning in :)

it's not a budacon it has wrong fret markers and no pick guard its more a copy of the reunion guitar.

What was the turn around time from order to delivery?

For this guitar, about 5 weeks. If you consider the customization and delivery time from china to europe, that’s not bad.

Well what do you expect from China you know you're going to get crappy pods crappy pickups and a crappy pick up selector you might as well just refinished the fridge and spend about $300 more dollars on it and you might have something you can play like a Harley Benton maybe maybe but you should have just had Harley Benton do it

After adjustments the guitar plays great. Personally I don’t have a problem with doing my own setup. I think it’s part of what’s fun. I have tried HB-guitars and allthough there’s nothing wrong with them they don’t fit me.
