Homeworlds sounds fantastic: looking forward to being confused about whether to not send troops. Really simple way to make more interesting decisions. Love that there's a potential extra stronghold, another way to shorten game time, but it sounds more interesting that the unofficial shield wall stronghold

Every Dune expansion is amazingly designed. I wonder if there will be more. I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Just got my expansion. It is just as awesome as everyone thinks it is. Of all the Dune games out there, this continues to be the preferred option for my gaming group. Kudos for another wonderful expansion!

Interesting to see how people open plastic wrappings. Finally some news. Big positive, the home planets are big tokens, not cards as was hinted in the magazine article. Maybe the cards are used for status 10:20 yes. (I admit I wrote this comment only a few minutes in).

Everything about this expansion is so interesting and exciting! I can’t wait to see both of the Factions abilites, especially the terror tokens and the ambassadors tokens. I also love that the Smugglers have finally made it into the game in some way and I think it’s a perfect implementation. Both the smuggler and the fremen tokens are really exciting. But my absolute favourite part is tied between the home worlds and the nexus cards. Homeworlds seem like a simple edition with major affects on choices, and I like that it seems to disincentivise doom stacking to a certain extent but not entirely. And the occupation rules seem like an awesome bonus. I also love that there is now a catch up mechanism. And the nexus cards are so versatile and seem like a great way that you can both balance/buff factions and also make it more immersive being able to interact with factions that arent in play. So so excited for this expansion!

Adding Homeworlds is going to put a lot more into this game! I'm stoked.

Damn! I'm curious to see these factions, but homeworlds alone expand the game so much. Seems like a very different game with this expansion!

How would the Fremen work with the home worlds seeing that Arrakis is their home? Would their "home world" be the southern hemisphere, or does it just work differently altogether for them? I also did notice the new strong hold (which I love the idea of), but I was wondering if there is a second new strong hold advantage to account for the new factions? It could be really cool to gain a strong hold if you are able to control enough of the opponents home worlds, and would open up the possibility of a 12 person Dune game since the home world mechanic can take troops/battles off Arakis (5 in the base + HMS + Tech tokens + Sietch Jacurutu + Presumably home worlds + 2 fan made strong holds to account for CHOAM and Richese (usually Cielago Depression + Shield Wall after 4 worms)). Of course a 12 person game would be insane, but I do like the idea that every faction can get at least one stronghold easily (except for the Gesserits)

This is wonderfully insane and complicated, definitely buying it!

So excited. This expansion really seems to address some of the aspects of the game that can be grating on some (hard to come back, fremen somewhat weak and use of worms somewhat uncommon, and no significant reason to not be in an alliance). Love this game and your work, I am extremely stoked for this! Lol you do a good job at leaving us wondering about this sixth general that can be used by both factions

I love the homeworld mechanic. Are the new spice blow cards used instead of the old ones or in addition?

I’d love to hear your thoughts Jack on the balance of the game with the expansions, especially how with expansion 3 we now have 8 ways of gaining victory points for the mentat phase (5 base strongholds, ixian mobile stronghold, holding 3 tech tokens and the new discovery token stronghold) to get 3 of them for a solo victory with a lower number of players could be done without any battles with some luck. Would you recommend homerules of increasing the required victory points based on the number in play for that game? Love everything this expansion plans to introduce and can’t wait for even more expansions down the road

All I want for Christmas is to occupy everyone's homeworld. All of the planets. Mine. Is that so much to ask for?

Apologies in advance if you can't answer the questions (as the product has not come out yet) but I have a few in regards to the new spice cards and the discovery stronghold that might come up during the game. Do the new spice cards that place a discovery token replace the original spice cards that have 6 spice on them or are they in addition to them? Does the stronghold that is added by a discovery token have a corresponding stronghold card like the cards added by the Richese and CHOAM expansion? (If so I can be patient and wait to find out what it does.)

Very excited to try this expansion. Will there be a polish translation available? I have the base game and other expansions in polish and would like to have everything in the same language, so I hope there will be the translation 😅
