Suntails isn't expensive and are a very good tail company, I suggest checking them out.

I suggest fin fun they have sizes but they can sometimes be expensive but they make styles boys would like and they have fins that are save you can check out there methods for quick releases and how to swim I hope this helps

Cool tail I love it and I’m going to wear mine today, which is quite different then you have which I had from many many years ago, It is very very easy to swim in many kinds and I love it so much but also so jealous about your tail. 🧜🏻‍♀️ Also letting you know that the top of the tail is the tail and the bottom is called the fin.

In the water it’s not heavy at all. Out of the water it’s a little heavy. The fluke is the heaviest part of it.

Check out fin fun but they have fins you put your feet in to swim it's easier than this and then you get the skin over it they are so cool
