Okay so I upgraded my 2100 series to the 2200 series which were both weak and only good enough for speech or low volume music. If you throw any bass at them they cut out for like 5 seconds. Then upgraded to the 2300 series which I still like even though the rubber feet on a few of the 2308 series we have fell off straight out the new packaging box, the 2312’s we got didn’t have that problem and I can throw loud volume at them and they still go strong. And now to upgrade my 4112’s which I love I have to downgrade/upgrade from the 4000 to the 3000 series which doesn’t have the pretty little screen like the 4000 series 😂 I’m glad they made the casing stronger, cause I haven’t even dropped it but one of my 4112 speakers has a slight crack line on the side. Great review guys. Looks like I’ll need some glue for the 3000 Series logo if I decide to purchase a pair of these.

I think Harbinger left the 3000 Series badge like that because they probably figured that SOME people who buy these will prefer to simply take the logo off so the speakers have a "cleaner" all black look. Most speakers just have the brand logo, and not the model or series proudly mounted on the front of the speaker. I would probably just leave it on there, but the look of the speaker without the logo on top looks a bit more clean.

I have the Alto TS312 speakers which I am quite happy with. Would you say that this new 3400 series from Harbinger is a better speaker performance and sound quality wise over the Alto TS312?

What powered speakers would you recommend for me playing guitar to a backing track? Would be mostly outdoors busking. Was looking at qsc and this speaker. I would want quality and durability and don’t mind spend $$$

We will be doing a comparison video on these in a future video! But to answer your question now, we like the sound quality from the LD's a bit more, but Harbinger's DSP app is a feature that is pretty hard to beat right now... so they both stand out for different reasons and would have slightly different use case scenarios for us.

I have the 310 and this blows the 310 out of the water. Coming from an audiophile, the sound quality through and through is significantly better and I work in a huge factory and even the sheer volume the 3412 is capable of putting out is insanely good

Hello, I am wanting to purchase a system for my 24’x30’ shop, but I’m just wanting to use the Bluetooth setting to play my music. So I’m asking, can I just get 2 of these top speakers and 2 subs and connect the top and sub together to play through Bluetooth without a mixing board?

I can answer that for you. You do not need a mixer. With the app controlled effects, you can dial in whatever mix you want. When you link the speakers together, you will be able to connect to 1 speaker and play through all of them

Do you prefer the Vari V3412 2,000 watts or the Vari V4112 with the 2,500 watts for a cleaner sound? Is there a much difference in loudness and bass?

I have heard the 3000 series in the store and liked them. I did read online review that said the 4112's got hot and had to be returned. Another reivew mentioned the 3000 series as being newer, so more advances (PEEK) and with bugs probably worked out

Just the addition of the DSP app and smart stereo features makes it a worthwhile upgrade from its predecessor for sure!

Is it possible to upgrade to a more powerful driver without damaging the speaker

As long as you keep it the same ohm load, you should be good to go. That way, it doesn't damage the amp. Also try to find a more powerful woofer that uses the same size enclosure.. or close to it.
