For me, I think it is better to have 8 plus as it is a more latest than 7 plus and you can also update to ios 16.

hello po, I’ve been using this phone for 4 years na and it’s a used phone nung binili ko po kaya 68% nalang yung battery health ngayon. Para po sa akin very worth it pa po talaga ang iphone 7 plus this 2022, tumagal po sya ng 4 years saakin na 32gb lang yung storage and kaya pa for another 2-3 years.

If you want affordable and bigger screen, iphone 7plus is good but if you want to have more features and better camera(ithink) iphone 8 is good too

dont use low power mode a lot, dont use it while it’s charging and make sure to give it at least 2-3 hours rest if you use your phone alot like ALOT yk

For me, I think iPhone 7 plus is still really worth it but as you said it can’t support IOS 16 which had the features that I really like. :((
