Another wonderful addition to Jethro Tull’s gorgeous series of deluxe re-releases or retrospectives. I have tried to get this for quite a while now and was so happy it was suddenly availble on amazon.
Now if I can only get my mits on the 1 I am still missing… (War Child).

My absolute favourite JT album "Songs From The Wood" and very strong number two is "Crest Of A Knave"

They recently reissued these two sets along with a third Minstrel In The Gallery. They reissued Thick As A Brick Overy a year ago too. I missed out on the Warchild set and it is around £260 on eBay and Discogs. I have just purchased the Warchild 2 Vinyl album that covers all the JT tracks from the set. I am just missing the orchestral pieces, but am not fussed about that. A Passion Play is my fave, but Songs From The Wood is their best album.

I’m jealous of these sets. My favorite JT song is Solstice Bells - it’s so wonderfully pagan. It’s like a Christmas celebration song. Let me know what you think after you hear it. How dare you give your personal opinion!!!! The nun dad joke. Lol.

Ring out Solstice Bells is one of the best Julesanger I know! I have a spotify Christmasplaylist called Christmas 2013/14/15… etc. I add songs to it each year. I’m so happy I am 1 (!) set from having the complete collection! I pretty much thought I was totally stuck now!
