Hi. Thanks for the video!!!. Does this laptop as you have it configured is good for handling big data software as excel power pivot, power bi or similar?
@momogaw5 жыл бұрын
Yes it works wonderfully! It's fast and quick and has enough memory and cpu crunching power for business applications to run all MS Office stuff fairly well. I use it so far for average word and excel and power point documents and it's nearly flawless. I'm not a power user for any of these applications and I was about to try some other big applications but I would not be afraid of trying any Office application.

Hi, can you please explain how swappable-battery works, and if I have the 2 battery plugged in and connected the laptop to a charger, which battery would be charging, the internal or the external one? Thanks.
@momogaw5 жыл бұрын
If you are referring to an battery (like a cel phone charging batter) that you charge by USB, and have this plugged in as well as the standard laptop battery in the back/bottom of the laptop, I will guess BOTH will be charging at the same time through the AC plug in. But if you have no AC power, your laptop battery will be trying to charge the USB battery. It likely won't be terribly efficient.

would you recommend this laptop for frequent travel ? does it feel heavy ? thanks!
@momogaw5 жыл бұрын
It is crazy light for me but i'm used to 17 inch gaming laptops. I have enjoyed the battery life if you can't plug in and it lasts quite long. I have enjoyed the fact this doesn't get hot and so we put it on our blankets to watch movies and it's usually passive cooling so the fan doesn't turn on to get messed up by the blankets blocking vents (as a function of portability). I just weighed it at 1920g. If you have a 2L milk carton, it's less than that.

Beautiful laptop, does anybody know if this toy is going to include a more powerful graphic card sometime? Maybe a GTX, Quadro T1000? It would be awesome
@Rob-ky1ob4 жыл бұрын
For that, you would want to look at the P52. The P52 is basically the T580 but then in workstation style.
@renzoarana30184 жыл бұрын
@@Rob-ky1ob hi Rob! I would be very thankful if you could explain me in a few words the "Workstation style", both have U procesors, so the graphics card is the difference?

My laptop suffers with heat issues, what cpu do you have? My fan is noisy and turns on so frequently is annoying. Do you have this issue?
@momogaw5 жыл бұрын
I got a 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-7200U Processor (2.50GHz, up to 3.10GHz with Turbo Boost, 3MB Cache). I play some games on it, watch movies, use Lightroom and other painting programs. The fan does not go crazy for me. During gaming, it's ON but I dont have any crashes due to overheating. I dont feel it's too noisy, personally. Maybe I have a different expectation of noisy though because I'm used to bigger gaming laptops that have what sounds like blow dryers going on. If the fans are on when you're doing average usage, that can be a different concern.

@@davidg4512 That'll output more juice so maybe it'll get hotter. what applications are you running when it gets noisy? Also, routinely blow out your vents and fans with compressed air. keep the heatsinks and fans clean of dust. If there is build up, it'll stay hotter and cool less efficiently.
