From the special scents at LV my favorite which is also unisex and my husband loves it too is Afternoon swim..... it’s heavenly , my favorite travel scent is Attrape Reves ( refill bottles minus the spray bottle are only $110 plus tax in the US ) . Once you buy the travel set with spray bottle , you can just drop down to refills and get just the refill bottles . However it’s also not offered in the afternoon swim scent either ! Also love California dream , Hubby got me the big bottle of that for my bday last year . I find LV fragrances are a lot more pure than many others on the market , however there are many I find quite horrible from Lv as well lol ! Enjoy your new fragrance

A lot of fragrances have colored bottles to help people with the scent. Green fresh, pink floral or rose, amber rich, maybe heavy in scent, black for dark heavy scents usually for evening,

I really like a lot of their colognes. I went to refill a couple bottles last month and she recommended Cactus Garden, which I had already smelled and didn't care for........but while I waited for the refills, the scent mellowed and it smells really fresh and clean, so I bought a bottle and i've been wearing it ever since.

Yay you got it! Oh you can refill the Travolo travel spritzers. You remove the top of the bottle (it just pulls off) and you place the tiny bottle on top (there’s a little whole to pump the perfume in the spritzer). Look for a Travolo one. I did that with my LV perfume ☺️ The instructions come with the Travolo perfume spritzers.

Your review encouraged me to pick up a sample of this scent, and it's spectacular. I'm going to have to spring for a full size bottle if I suddenly get rich....... You also have to take your body chemistry into account selecting fragrances. They can smell very differently on different people. My mother wore Estee Lauder Youth Dew for years and it was wonderful on her. On me - it reeks. And oh yes - what does that name have to do with the fragrance notes? It certainly doesn't smell like what 'Cactus Garden' invokes in my mind.

I've heard a lot of good things about cactus garden. Sort of wish I could get ahold of the samples, haha. But so you know! They do make refillable travel bottles that fill from the spray. search "refillable travel perfume atomizer" and some should come up. You essentially put the atomizer on top of the spray pump and dispense--the perfume dispenses into the atomizer and voila!

I keep hearing good things about Cactus Garden. I haven’t had a chance to smell it yet since I’ve been buying online. I enjoy light and fresh scents.

You can use a perfume funnel and just spray the perfume into it. Amazon sells refillable handbag size perfume containers. I do it with my large spray perfume bottles all the time. Enjoy your new perfume. Anne😄

I enjoy matching my fragrance to the season. I like bright floral or fruity scents for spring and summer. Then I use musky, warm amber type perfumes in fall and clean cotton scents in winter. I've never pulled the plug on the price for an LV fragrance though.

U might check the spray nozzle on your perfume. If the nozzle detaches, like most, exposing the tube, you can then create mini atomizers 4 your handbag 👜 . Amazon, QVC, HSN, etc have them.

You can also get travel perfume bottles from Amazon that you can fill by spraying in.

For Christmas I recently I received a bottle of Miss Dior perfume. It's a very light floral clean scent. The packaging is beautiful. I think you would enjoy it.

I love that perfume, and I totally blame you! Here comes nitpicky Jill. It's really better to spray your perfume on before you put your jewelry on or after you have taken it off. It can harm your jewelry, especially gemstones and costume jewelry. I agree on the chemical nature of a lot of perfume scents. You can still get perfumes without any chemicals, but they aren't that easy to find in the US. The world has just shifted. You'll be doing makeup tutorials by the end of the year! xoxo

I love perfume! You can get an atomiser, which allows you to transfer some of the perfume from the bottle to the atomiser which you can carry around. I have no idea how they work, but I am guessing that you spray the perfume from one container to the other. Though it cannot be as simple has that. There must be a trick to the process. They sell them on eBay and Amazon. Chanel does sell a few perfumes in mini spray sizes. One tip I can give you is to never let perfume near your jewelry, it can really wreck it. Spray before you put your necklace/ rings on, or spray well away from them! If a perfume has only natural ingredients it will have minimal longevity, if any. The reason Number 5 was so revolutionary is because it had terrific power and longevity and that was because of the aldehydes. Some people really don't go for aldehydes, but they don't bother me at all. For information about perfume, especially Chanel, the best source on KZfaq (or anywhere!) is Super Dacob. Also Lanier Smith, but he is on leave at the moment. Thank you for the video!

If you like this scent you might want to try Philosophy or Jo Malone fragrances. I personally love perfumes. There are very few fragrances I don’t like. I can remember, Twilly by Hermès, Black Orchid by Tom Ford and also Dior Hypnotic Poison 🤢. I like all of the LV fragrances for women. I did try Cactus Garden while I was pregnant and I was not a huge fan but now that I am not pregnant I have tried it again and I like it. I would agree with you and say it is a fresh scent. It’s a unique fragrance. I own Contre Moi which is a vanilla based fragrance. It’s not one of there popular scents but I like it. I have HEURES D'ABSENCE on my wishlist.

You should spray in the inner wrist, rub your wrists together and rub them or spray some more behind you ear lobes. That's how I have always been told to spray perfume if I wanted it to last longer.

Jo Malone has nice body lotion, specifically wood sage and sea salt. I prefer the body lotion over the perfume. It’s not as overwhelming. There are many scents and some can be combined.

Hermès makes some lovely fragrances. They also have a line of garden inspired scents. A good way to try them is to get a set of four quarter ounce minis available at Sephora. They’re small bottles, but they go a long way, and you get to try four different scents.

If the small sprayer comes off Amazon sells portable perfume bottles that stick onto the stem and fills the travel bottle from the bottom.

I use a refillable travel perfume bottle that works perfectly. It’s on Amazon- search: Portable Mini Refillable Perfume Atomizer Bottle. You take the spray nozzle off the big bottle and set the portable bottle on top of the tube and pump it into the little bottle.

They make a reusable travel Perfume that you can spray into the container instead of having to remove the cap. You can get them on Amazon

I am obsessed with perfumes and every time I get a 20 percent off at Sephora or Ulta I buy some. I have around 30 perfumes and use a different one everyday. I have the LV perfume Coer Battant and love it. That scent and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle are my Friday perfumes. I just don't feel complete unless I have perfume on and will wear it everyday. When I spray it on my neck and lower my face mask then put it back on I can smell my perfume : ). How many times did I write perfume lol. Thanks for sharing... I will need to smell that one next time I make it out to the mall.

The refillable travel spray thing is called an atomizer. Transferring the juice from the bottle to the atomizer is called decanting. You may want to search how to do that online. Thanks for sharing your purchase!

I made the mistake of getting a bottle of perfume I purchased in Paris engraved with my 3 initials. Of course this makes it impossible to return. I think they push engraving on purpose for this reason.. Unfortunately it smelled terrible on me so I'm stuck with a full bottle of LV perfume I cannot return. I do want to buy the California Dreams fragrance though. Love that one! I have the Sun Song perfume on the yellow bottle from that line. It's very nice and fresh!

Good information. I’m glad that they’re doing refills now I thought for a while they had stopped because of the virus. My favorite Louis Vuitton perfume is Le Jour se leve. It’s first note is mandarin orange and it’s very fresh. I also like a perfume that you can reapply during the day if you want. I can’t tell you how many times I have put a perfume on like Chanel #5 that stays on forever. I can’t wait to take a shower and get it off. By no means am I an expert but I do know that eau de toilette is the lightest and most inexpensive of a scent. It is less concentrated and does not last as long. Next is Eau de parfum. That is a higher concentration of perfume and has a better staying power. Finally there is perfume. High concentration very expensive. I also like Chanel’s Coco mademoiselle. It is actually cheaper than Louis Vuitton perfume.

You should try a brand called Penhaligans, it's botanical and none chemical.

I recently picked up LV Apogeé and I love it - light airy floral scent. I’ll have to check out cactus garden next time I go to the store. I saw Cindy’s (aheatedmess) video and her SA engraved 5 letters (her name) for her. When I asked at the store, they said they can only do 3 letters. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I tried and liked a sample of the LV "Apogee" scent, but don't wear perfume often enough to invest in a full bottle, especially when I'm not going anywhere these day. We really need "smell-o-vision" for this one! :)

Congratulations! It sounds like a very nice scent. I like a few of the LV fragrances and for the bottle size they are not that expensive. Really good fragrances will not have a scent that’s too heavy or distinct where someone else can easily identify the fragrance. It will just smell beautiful. Jo Malone makes some beautiful fragrances. Their Wood Sage and Sea Salt, Earl Gray and Cucumber, and Lime Basil and Mandarin are nice. I also love Creed Spring Flowers and almost everything from L’Artisan.
