Love the Design, Now can Xbox stay away from the RLOD since their is no Ring just a Circle. Hopefully they could also sale the White one that the Employees got some day it looks so cool like a Storm trooper in the back.. Also still trying to get over the Achievement Hunter that they showed who got the Launch team edition, and a 1/1 Limited Edition Lifetime Xbox Gold Live Card.

I got the Xbox One at midnight and got it all set up and played for a while last night and today, but for some reason i still had to watch this video of its unboxing haha

Hey, Adam. I've really enjoyed your videos on the new gen consoles. I'm a big retro gamer and enjoy collecting classic consoles. With regards to the new gen systems I'm wondering if they will be usable in say 20 years time? What I mean is if someone bought one second hand as a future "retro" system would it work or not because of an update that is no longer possible to download?

Nice unboxing. Being patient, I'll wait a while before getting a PS4 or an XBox One, waiting for flaws to unveil. But I'd say that the PS4 starts in advance for me because of the bitter taste the XBox One's former DRM system left.

I think the XBox One looks pretty good dont know why everyone hates it. Cant wait for it to release in Mars here in Sweden :)

thanks for the vid. looks like a beast. if they had to do a big update day one to remove all the shite they previously planned, then i wonder how easy it will be to put some of it back into place in the future? i mostly doubt that they will tho, cos it would just be a PR disaster and a hell of a lot of people would jump ship to their rivals if they're the only one doing that stuff.

hey bro i was just watching somw of your old videos and i have a question i know you do not suppoet digital gaming which i understand (but you know its inevitable right?)but on this video you said you never ever use or carry cash i thought that strange because it is like digital distribution almost to the point were if your bank goes under or some banking bullshit happens your out of luck just like digital downloads !now i dont like digital much either but i see myself doing it more and more basically because sometimes the have a sell and i can get the games cheaper and me i am opposite i use my debit and credit cards but i love cash and having cash on me all the time !so i was wondering why you dont like cash when you love physical things like actual physical games and hate digital but you dont use cash ?i was just wondering?

I like the style and theme of the xbox one. It has very nice packaging, and is overall very aesthetically pleasing, which, however, I know has nothing to do with gameplay.

i like the kinect sensor so far, i don't get why so many people are un happy with it, i mean the old kinect was crap before if users don't have kinect connected with their consoles, producers won't make any thing good with it, so now i'm excited to see what it's going to be released for kinect :)

One difference between the day one edition here in Australia is they included a download code for FIFA 14. Probably in Europe too. Kinda nice of them to include a free game anyway.

To be honest, I actually really, really like that packaging design, I hope it becomes the primary print down the line and not just limited to the day one adopters. As for the size of the console... yeah, I still can't 'figure it out' (ba-dum-tss) either. At least the size of the original Xbox made sense given how much more it accommodated for than it's competitors, and even *THAT* had a traditional two-prong built-in PSU. Now you compare this thing to the more technically more-robust PS4 and can't help but ask what gives. I look forward to the overall thoughts video.

In Australia i collect $1 and $2 coins and put them in a jar and when its full i go to the bank and put it in a machine and it goes directly to my bank account. Why can't you do this in America??? Also please do a video on your collection of games and consoles :)

Unfortunately PS4 kept the DRM and they bragged they weren't that kinda company. You have to use a HDMI box which takes the HDCP off the PS4 video cable to record anything from your monitor screen using recording software.

In my "OPINION" the fact that xbox one controller doesn't have an internal battery can be a good thing if you play for extended periods of time or forget to charge your remote. So if you need to you can replace the AA's or grab a new charge pack charge pack. I would also worry about losing charge cycles and lifetime with an internal battery.

Credit cards are not popular in Europe, I actually only have a prepaid credit card, only when I need it, I put money from my bank account on it, and than pay, no fees, interest or any of that crap. And the card costs me 10 EUR per year.

I'm just throwing it out, but perhaps the size of it may be to help displace the heat within the system, rather than having it concentrated in a smaller package and therefore lingering in specific areas that are susceptible to prolonged periods of "high" heat. One might argue, well why don't they just add more cooling to it? Answer? Business model. It's probably a lot cheaper for MS to increase the overall size of it than just add more cooling. Than again, you did say it's heavy so it just might have a LOT of hardware in it.

Definitely getting this over the ps4 purely because of forza 5 when uncharted 4 comes out then I will buy a ps4 anyway great video

The Kinect works great if you have a good deep voice like me and all new Xbox 360's and Xbox Ones come with headsets and PS fans can't pop out there battery's and put charged battery packs it's way better nobody likes more cables to mess with

I prefer AA batteries over rechargeable batteries, if you get the right alkaline they work longer than rechargeable batteries. Sorry for that rant I sell batteries for a living. Haha

I still call it a over priced under powered gaming Cable box console. I'll just go with my Wii U and PS4. And I don't want to go into why I'm mad at Microsoft. It's kinda of a personal story. But, I heard reviews on the new controller, and the biggest complaint I've heard was the bummer buttons. other then that I haven't heard much complaints on the controller. but, I'll keep my reservations to the side until I had a chance to see one myself. Walmart and Gamestop likes to have displays of the consoles.

I’m shocked that still in 2023 the xbox controllers still doesn’t come with an internal battery. It’s the only product in my house that it still design to use AA battery’s. I wish they could change that soon.
