I Recently bought this modem based on the feedback seen, internet speed is okay and stable based on the network, but battery consumption is really bad just we connected 3 devices 2 mobiles and 1 laptop maximum 3 to 4 hours they battery stand by time, as well currently i set very minimal settings, battery power saving mode on, wifi range also set to short. It's not worth :(

The one I have doesn't have problem with battery. The problem I have with it is the internet speed, it works fine in a very good 3CA signal only.

Finally I changed this modem. Because this is pocket it's not perfect choice for homebased.

On the paper, it is really 600 Mbps. However, in real scenario, you will be able to reach around 50 Mbps if you are in low traffic hour, strong coverage, and under 3CA site.

Can this be used without the battery in and just plugged into the mains?

It is a moveable device. You don't need to plug it in all the time. Its battery can use around 10 hours.

How to setup my tplink m7650 from 2.4ghz to 5ghz. When i change to 5ghz in my tplink m7650 i can't seen it in my wifi. It disappear but when i put it back in 2.4ghz it appears again in my wifi search. How should i fix this?

Let me try to do that. In worst case, you can do hard reset.

I have tied as you mentioned. Change 2.4 GHz to 5GHz and it works fine. Maybe, your wifi receiver device is NOT support 5 GHz.
