This is going to be another great series of videos to watch. It does look harder than the Disney Museum. I believe that the bag identifier is a suffix letter at the end of the product code printed in black ink on each bag. Please let me know if this correct.

Such a gorgeous puzzle. Just bought one of my own. Just fyi if you look at the serial number on each bag one will start with an A and the other will start with a B followed by the same number. Have fun!

I bought my first 6000 piece puzzle because it was only €24.99 :D But I have no space to do it. I think otherwise I would already have a huge collection of bigger puzzles, including this one!

I've looked for detailed information on people doing this puzzle without much luck so I am looking forward to seeing this come together.

This puzzle is wonderful! I did it last year. Usually I don't do huge puzzles but I just had to have this one because the image is possibly the coolest puzzle image I've ever seen. I did it in 2 parts, it was definitely very doable for me as a "big puzzle noob", haha. Hope you'll enjoy the process!

Hi Vicky, I also have this puzzle. I'll be interested to watch your sorting technique for this one. I looked on Ravensburger's site recently and there is now a notice that says they can't provide replacement pieces due to changes in machinery etc - so I'm not sure you can get them now. Hopefully all the pieces will be there for both of us. I also (stupidly in my case) mixed the bags on Disney Museum and have assembled quite a lot of the portraits but have still to drag it out again and tackle the rest of the frames and background. Wanted to do a few different ones in between. I always enjoy your videos so thanks for taking the time to help us all.

Hello Vicky :) I'm so excited to watch you build this puzzle. I actually have completed part B earlier last summer and I did what you are currently thinking of doing..."Building it horizontally". A bit of advice I would like to share with you is that you will need quite good lighting because you can be easily tricked by some colors on some areas of this part of the puzzle. Those pieces that may seem black when you first look at it can actually turn out to be dark green or dark grey. I just wanted you to be aware of that so you are mentally prepared when you get to those areas. :) I can't wait to watch more of your videos...And I can't wait to do part A myself. :D Thank you for sharing...

This puzzle is stunning! I swore off large piece count puzzles after finishing my second 9000 piece Ravensburger back in 2011. Never again i said! But this one is seriously tempting. Can't wait to see your follow up videos.

We have similar taste in puzzles I’ve had my eye on this one for a while but I still have a 5k and 6k to do before I buy another jumbo one 😂

It's such a nice puzzle. I have noticed most Ravenaburger 9k puzzle has that obvious halfway line though and I think it's a little lazy of them lol

You may now be my favorite puzzle-enabler. The Clementoni Venice at Sunset you used to describe how to do large piece count puzzles is now waiting its turn . Artist Mickey happened on the table not too long ago - and this puzzle has been on my wish list for quite some time. I’d get a copy now but I think my husband would like me to let the debit card cool off a bit first! 😂

I've absolutely loved that puzzle image since I first saw it! It looks too intimidating for me though. I've done 1000pc dragon puzzles from Ravensburger already and they were so hard because of all the dragon scales! They all looked the same lol

I think the letter a and b are with the serial number on ravenburger puzzles I might be wrong I think that how I found which bag to start with my 40320 ravenburger Disney puzzle

Just went to check mine and the stamps are very close to one of the short edges of the bag - they have A/B followed by the numbers on each bag - you've probably found those by now but for anyone else who wants to know that's it.

Congratulations on starting this awesome puzzle. 🎉🎉🎉 I remember when I opened my copy, my jaw dropped when I opened up the poster at how gorgeous and detailed it is. Currently have Bag A done and bagged up in smaller sections ready for after I've done Bag B to too a full build of the whole image to together. Can't wait to see how you get on with. Heads up on Bag A, I found the dark section on the bottom to be tricky. The colours did seem very similar, not sure if that was just my lighting or my eyes. Enjoy puzzling this gorgeous puzzle.

I would ask for the piece cut, even if you don't need it to solve the puzzle. It is helpful to hear your observations on the puzzle cut (repeated cut patterns, unique dividing sections, etc.). I would want to know about repeated cut patterns before deciding to mix the sections. Karen Puzzles ended up with repeating cut in the middle of her Minion puzzle. Since the repeated pieces were right next to each other, it was basically impossible to tell if the piece belonged in the left section or the right.

Ooo, that's some jigsaw! I'm sure you will thoroughly enjoy yourself making it despite having to do a load of sorting. Did you have a closer look at the bag to see if there was a B on it? You may know about this one but Ravensburger have a 1000 piece dragon's alphabet jigsaw. I did this myself some time ago. The date on the box was 2021 and the ref. no. is 16814 in case you want to look at/for it. Look forward to your next video.

Oh I love that one. But 3000 pieces is my absolute limit. Don't have more space and because of my disability I can't stand up to reach over the Puzzle.

Vicky you're going to cause my husband to groan again lol. Because this is the kind of puzzle I would love to do! Dragons, castles, fairies, mythical things. Sign me up! Now to convince my husband I need a bigger board and the permission to invade a corner of our bedroom for awhile. 😅

This looks like it might be a fun one, cause while there are quite a few similar colours, the overall image is quite awesome. Also, I really like the cut pattern lines option, that sounds very helpful! Also also, this brings me to a slightly less related question - so how many jigsaws do you have that you haven't done yet and are just waiting in a queue? Cause I usually get 3-6 and then get a bunch of new ones when I'm done with those. But I'm starting to see that quite a few puzzlers tend to have a huge, like 10-20 list/pile of jigsaws that they purchase because they want to do them, but they keep buying more even though they have these. Is it normal to have a humongous pile of to-do puzzles and keep building that pile? :)

I like this puzzle, but I didn't buy it. Because I bought an 18k puzzle ==> Magical bookcase (before is it not available any more, it's already an oldy)

I love your choice Vicky :) I literally just took that puzzle off my wall 3 days ago and it looks like they won't let me forget about themselves too easily :P They were a beautiful decoration for one and a half year until they met a worthy successor - the latest 9000 Kingdom Underwater by David Penfound :) I think you should definitely check them out and show it to a larger publicity then I can, David created another great image with very nice color palette! 💕Anyway the love for Magical Dragon Forest (same thing with Astrology) is still there and I strongly recommend it to everyone :) Regarding the bags - please look for the "Kontrollnummer" printed on the bags - it's in 1-letter + 16-digit format and that first letter is what you are looking for - just A or B, no weird Educa-like labeling :D And I feel you if it comes to the "ravensburger gap" - I really like the fact that their latest 9k puzzles don't have that emptiness in the middle, it was spoiling so many nice images...
