Halfway through the video and I'm already jealous. I see you went to a Paul Mitchell school and I'm about 300 hours away from graduating from one. I didn't nearly get that much stuff. We didn't get tint brushes, waxing supplies, curlers, nail supplies other than a basic manicure set, a mirror, none of that. I ended up buying a lot of stuff to supplement. Then I ended up upgrading my round brushes and a lot of my combs, then adding a Wet Brush, teasing brush, and 1 1/4 marcel curling iron. I'm going to the Mid Atlantic Hair Show and I plan on upgrading my clippers for nicer quality cordless models (since I've tripped on them a lot but I do a lot of men's cuts), possibly a new dryer, and testing out new scissors. Once I'm done I'm getting a case that actually holds all my stuff. Like these kits are good basic sets. But I've had to add so many things that were never included or upgrade most of what came with it.

Hey man I wanna tell you that I have the Andis Superliners and it takes a bit concentration to set them but once you get them set right they are PERFECT. Man they are my go to’s over my t outliners, I like em way better. Every client I use em on I ask how do they feel and they tell me it didn’t even feel like the clippers were on, yet the lines are super crisp, even on the neck line and mustache. The key to getting them set perfect is to zero gap the detachable blade while it’s on the clipper, don’t take it off and do it. Do me a favor and give it a try and use em on your next cut.

Maaaan, this video makes me wanna enroll into cosmetology school. I've been cutting men's hair; in & out of shops, for 5 years but I'm not licensed. Therefore, I'm currently in a position of whether I want to be licensed through cosmetology school or barber school. Decisions lol I hope your journey will inspire you even further & others like myself who wanna step out of there element to try something new 🙏🏻💯
