With the head size she looks like a teen. Very pretty and cute. I can never remake this hair style and i love it, so probably for years I would keep her with this hairstyle until I am sick of it :D I would get the naked doll too. You will dress her!

Congrats on that beautiful Ellowyne! Regarding taking her hair down or not, I'm sure you know that her hair was rooted in such a way that it could be styled this way, so if you take it down it may not have the part where you'd want it, and the hair may be thinner in ways that would be obvious if her hair was just down. That said, she's your doll now and you can do absolutely anything you want with her. Enjoy!

I will be doing a first Robert Tonner doll box opening too, but I did not go with Ellowyne Wilde (outside my price range at this time). She is very pretty! I love her hairstyle and that it is black, nice!! I would leave the hair up until it gets messy and then take it down. She is gorgeous!! Congratulations!!

She gorgeous - congratulations. Love her raven black hair and red lips. I would be tempted to take the hair down myself BUT the style is so complex I would be concerned that the hair might be weird lengths when loose so I wouldn't rush into anything.

She's lovely! I wouldn't take her hair down because I think it was rooted in to look that way. But if you think you can put it back if it won't lay right, then go for it! Or you could get her a wig. At least she has smooth pretty hair that hasn't been ruined with too much play.
