@@CarlosMartinez-eo3gyNot a good idea to put that keyboard protector on. I think it touches the screen when folded. Putting a case to the Mac doesn’t let it cool very well. I don’t know about the screen protector whether it’s wrong or not. I can tell this because I avoided what the guy did when I bought my MacBook.

@@t.v.g9the screen protector is actually helpful, becuase in some time it will get scratches but u will loose the anti reflective coating.

@CarlosMartinez-eo3gy Work at an Apple Store, have seen plenty of screens Crack by "screen protectors" and keyboard covers. this is because the tolerances are so small between the screen and keyboard. Also from things I have seen the "case" doesn't protect the laptop. Drops break the plastic then dent the metal. Debris gets in-between the case and scratches it anyways. Just increasing the likelihood of heating issues

@@Notjuztpolo The case shells actually damage the Macbook case where the clips attach. Over time the screen will warp under the tension of the top case. The screen protector is not needed and now will touch the Macbook keys and when taking it off after some time will ruin the Macbook's display. You don't need to look hard to find these incidents

Do not use a screen protector or keyboard protector. When the MacBook is closed, the space between the keyboard and screen is so small that it can crack 😅

I had to take my screen protector for my Mac off as it could damage the actual screen. It’s not recommended apparently 😅

Do not put those cheap silocone covers, they leave a nasty residue on your keys when you take it off and damage your screen.

Besides a smudgy screen, I’ve had no issues with those keyboard covers in years. Even with very rough on the road use. Don’t be scared man lol

@@lemonadexbubbles Used for over a year and a half on my M1 Pro that's been crammed in my backpack for three semesters of a health care degree, no issues with it at all. The residue it leaves is wiped right off! I use it so the keys don't get shiny and ugly.

do not apply liquid to the screen direclty. instead apply it to a microfiber cloth and use it to clean

According to my experience. You should never use screen protector You should not use a case (it will damage your hardware because of the heat. Instead, buy two or three super soft duster to protect the screen from the keyboard. and the last, your CC batery will decrease into 99% if the CC goes to 30 - 40.

Had mine just recently and I didn’t buy any accessories. I used it like the way i bought it cause I was told any accessories will damage the macbook. Good thing it’s rose gold 😊 so i’m happy. But I’m really scared about scratches in the exterior. I guess it’s now time to be really careful 😢

Firstly, stop using a screen protector. Secondly, do not use a laptop case as it can damage the hinge and make it harder for heat to dissipate, causing more thermal throttling. Thirdly, don’t use a keyboard cover as it can crack the screen as it creates a small gap, and can also cause marks on the screen. And, do not spray cleaning spray on the display, it can leak into the internals and damage the laptop. Lastly, don’t use a camera cover as it can also crack the display. The light by the camera will activate if the camera is in use, so there’s no point anyways 😂😂
