Me: watching this at 3 am and looking for separated letters. Hey, Stays who are watching this now! There is also another way to check it - since 2017 (2016? 2015? idk) komsa logo has a music note in it if original. Just make the flashlight on and look on their sticker. This works for albums too

gosh tysm for this vid. I bought the fake nachimbong from Walmart :') and it came yesterday. My lightstick's box has the separated "entertainment" but not the jyp logo. It has a sticker also so I thought it was official. The compass on the nachimbong doesnt move easily and it didn't connect to bluetooth. It doesn't have the code on the batteries too. THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS

Wow thanks for this video! I had bought my lightstick from a seller in eBay from Korea a few months ago. So I was confident I wasn’t gonna get scammed. Was able to use the app and connect to Bluetooth easily. Just can’t believe I never downloaded the app and connected to it right away. I literally did it after watching your video. I saw them back in June on the second Newark show and had a blast! Hopefully next tour the lightsticks will be able to connect to Bluetooth in the US 👍🏻.

This video was very helpful!! I just went to D2 of their concerts in Atlanta! Unfortunately the merch tables there sold out of light sticks before I could get one :( so I've been looking around to see where I can try to find a legit one for a reasonable price, and of course without being scammed.

Mine's really weird. I got mine from a website I had never used before and had some problems with the shipping. For a few days I thought I got scammed and it wasn't gonna arrive at all. But it ended up arriving today and everything was fine. It connected to the app and the compass spun really well so I was happy. Then I saw your video and found the same spelling mistakes on the box as the amazon one, there was no code inside and the font was slightly different then the real one. But honestly I'm still happy with mine since everything works, nothing is noticeably different and it connects to the app. Plus I got a free keychain lol. I just hope it works at the concert 🤞

I'm going to point out since this one has the engravings and things. On the seventeen real vs fake videos, they say real doesn't have marking on the bottom. Well I got my seventeen from the last restock on weverse and my besties from subk. Both came with engraving on bottom. I was so freaking out because I thought I'd been scammed out of a lot of money by an official company lol. It was worse when I couldn't get it to connect via Bluetooth. I freaked up until the actual concert. But once in the venue, when they turned it on. It connected. Even without being connected on my phone... I'm bringing it up because you pointed out that engraving isn't necessarily fake it's HOW it's fine.

I actually got my today and it was from Amazon and it’s was about 60 dollars. The seller was actually music plaza which is an official K-pop store. I’m very happy that it was official tho because I would cry if it wasn’t because I just spend 60 dollars on a FAKE!!

Subk ships from USA unless stated otherwise so that’s why it was fast shipping If it takes longer to ship it might be if it’s a preorder since they have to wait for the orders to come out in Korea first before getting to the USA warehouse

The funniest thing is what my fake lightstik is working with the app better than the orig one. Original lightstik doesnt want to connect normally. when the fake one is connecting normally. But ofc it has so much differences. Such as what u cant see buttery charge on the app. And also the fake one has warm light, it is not as accurate as the orig one, it has no barcode, the glow time is also different, the transparent part looks slightly cloudy. But it's funny how picky and harmful goes the original lightstik when it comes to the app, u know. and also it is kinda normal. i mean, there are so much threads about that kind of habbit with original lightstiks on the Internet. but it isnt feeling normal cause when u'd spent so much money for the thing what supposed to be like 《original》 and u had that kind of troubles, you start to have a lot of doubts. especially when you bought it as a gift

Mine wouldn't connect to the app no matter what I tried. It looked official I thought. After seeing this video, I realize that it is not official. I guess that's what you get from ordering cheaper on amazon lol. I gave it the benefit of the doubt because a lot of comments said it was legit and it connected to the app. I wasn't so lucky. I'll see if I can return. If not, I guess the fake one still looks pretty nice, even if it doesn't connect to the app. Thanks for the video!
