i bought an iPhone 11 a month ago, 600 dollars straight out of my bank account and the goddamn cashier guy at metropcs had the nerve to unwrap it, unbox it and peel the plastic thing. My inner rage was burning. Im a tech enthusiast and i dont buy phone every year i wait till my phone is in need of one and its so unproffessional because he had no right to do that! putting in a sim card does not require you to peel the front or back. Omg just thinking about it really triggers me. You may think its a small thing but if i pay 600 DOLLARS i expect to have that satisfying moment for MYSELF. Now i have to wait another 4 or 5 years till i upgrade and make sure IM THE ONE who peels it.

apple should do a thing when ur putting on a magsafe case u can turn off the charging feature so that u don’t have to keep switching cases

thanks for the comparison! don't know if i can go back to smaller phones after using the iphone plus for years... but wow it does have a bigger screen size than the 8 even though its smaller.

That totally makes sense, it would probably feel super small compared to a plus but it’s super lightweight and easy to carry around! The pro might be a good in between option!

It's soo cute I could never get a mini i don't like Small phones but I understand why people like them because its more affordable and more comfortable to use i just ordered the mint green iPhone 12 it comes Friday I didn't get the white or black because all my past phones have been black or white so I wanted a change this review got me excited it's so entertaining and helpful

What do you use to record? What camera is that? You use your iPad to record too?

I currently use a Sony a6500 with a 30mm lens I connect my iPad to my camera via bluetooth to use as a display to make sure i'm in frame and all that good stuff!👍🏻

I agree with the headphones! I don’t use them and I do think it’s more sustainable. The white phone is beautiful!! I think the mini is the way to go I can’t hold the bigger ones in my hands 😂

I have a bunch of bricks as well...none are type c. I think this is the real issue, most people will be coming from older devices like you and myself. Now I have to buy a new bricker, luckily Anker makes some amazing options.

Absolutely! That is something that does make me shy away from upgrading, well that and because I hate change but it can end up being inevitable so it is great that other companies come out with more affordable options for all the new accessories!

i was so shocked to see that 12 mini is actually smaller than my iphone 8. it would be perfect if mini was flatter like the 8. i’m glad i managed go to the store when they were still open because i was going to buy it anyways. it’s really beautiful 🥺

Hmmm thats a hard one! I feel like if it was me and I still had to pay $550 after trade in and everything (I'm not sure if your'e stuck in a phone lease) I think I would just stick it out for a year till the new phone comes out. I assume they will put out a new mini version in the coming year. & if you wait the year the trade in value of the pro max should cut out a lot of the cost of the new phone considering the minis are cheaper! It kinda depends on how much you hate having the big phone but thats just what I would do! Hope that helps!!

I believe that everything except the plastic that comes on the box is recyclable! Theres been a lot of talk about apple trying to reduce their carbon footprint so thats good!👍🏻Hope you love your new phone!

I’ve been rocking iphones since 3G, and I like the perpendicular edge better, because the phone is easier to hold. I put my first finger joints against the angled edge, and the phone is gripped quite securely even without a case. The iphones with the curved edge feel like a bar of soap without a case. Like you I don’t trust myself to carry an iphone without a case. I baby my phones and I probably drop them twice a year at the most. Still, I cringe hard just thinking about dropping a naked $1300 iPhone 12 Pro on the pavement.

That definitely makes sense. I agree the curved edges are more slippery but they are just so smooth and nice haha Totally get what you mean though! That would hurt my soul to drop a case-less iPhone on concrete 😖

@@KatieKH1 The curved edges are nice and smooth, but I feel that they’re a heart attack waiting to happen. It’s particularly bad with the 11 Pro because it’s curvy smooth and heavy, so it’s easy to drop. I actually buy the case before the phone, to make sure that it’s encased the moment I unbox it.

I like the minis too. I like a small phone and if I want a bigger screen I will use a tablet or laptop.

Coming from the 11 pro max, I would say the mini since its more pocket friendly and very easy to hold in one hand. I got the blue color and I am already having screen issues. I can barely unlock my phone using the passcode unless I use the tips of my fingers. I am glad you had no issue so far.

@@andyluo218 Dang that sounds frustrating! The only issue i've had since upgrading is the facial recognition with a mask but I think everyone is having that problem 😛

For people like me not having a brick sucks because I’ve got rid of all of my bricks due to switching to android years ago. Also for people who have never had an iPhone that sucks as well.

I just brought the iPhone 12 mini three days ago and I love it. But, what I need to know is does anybody else phone get warm while watching KZfaq videos? Is that normal? Should I exchange for another one?
