Would a Simagic M10 be as good as a Fanatec direct drive? Fanatec isn't available to be shipped to my country, but I can buy a Simagic directly from a supplier here.

@@immycousins53 i would think the glow falls off after about 20-30mins. It looks like SuperLuminova glow paint (same as most watches), but depends on how thick the coating is. So I think its mostly a gimmick.

@@zigamikeli7233 Not sure why you got a sarcastic response for that. Totally agree, stupid gimmick. I ordered one because its a V2 with a free APM and a nice sticker/button cap set. No brainer if you don't have a Formula V2 wheel already. Glow in the dark? Meh. The only reason that's on there is because they didn't want to compete against themselves by putting leather grips on it then undermining the V2.5. I mean, I am super excited for mine, but it's not because it glows in the dark haha.

How much better can you get in terms of lap times with the wheel? I’m using PS5 been playing F1 2020 with the Dualsense controller for like 2 weeks now. My best in Imola is 1:20.5xx so far (automatic gear). I want to get better at it and I understand manual gears will improve lap times but it’s hard to do it on the controller. So I’m thinking of getting the Fanatec Podium F1 wheel and Clubsport v3 pedal. Since it’s a bit costly I want to hear if it’s worth the money.

A Fanatec Wheel won't make you quicker - the wheelbase is where the magic is and it always depends, but genuinely more feedback from a wheel=more, better and faster progress

Skyy is also well known as a long time supporter of fanatec, so for him to be posting a negative comment means that they are letting us down. Instead of focusing on selling the same dated rims, how about they make an effort to give us something new?......even thrustmaster has a decent screen on their latest rim.

Just because it has a display? My eyes are focusing 99% of the time to the monitor and track and not on the steering wheel. And I do not get a better feel of quality of that one compared with this. And Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Module I find it also better (and is included in the price).

Yeah much better design cause its Official Ferrari licensed . But until thrustmaster makes a DD base Fanatec beats it all day.
