I’m very excited because I know a lot of y’all have the original line and I want to provide the very best content for you. Congrats on your essenza mini! I have one in red and I love it so far. Just a couple tips: 1) the crema is definitely not as thick as the VL, but some say that this crema is more similar to the crema you get from an espresso machine; 2) the leaking of water when you remove the pod is normal; 3) getting 4oz - 6oz mugs will definitely improve your drinking experience ! Can’t wait to see your take on all the OL pods. My favorites are Kazaar, Napoli, Arpeggio, Vienna lungo, Shanghai lungo, Scuro, Ethiopia, and cocoa truffle :)

Congrats! I love having both machines. The OL machines are louder because they use the water pressure system. Def need some espresso shot glasses. The machine looks cute and matches your other machine. 👍🏼

India is one of my favorites for the Original Line. With frothed french vainilla creamer it tastes awesome. The original line will not produce the volume of foam that the Vertuo creates, but it is true crema, not foam. Enjoy your new beautiful and tiny Mini Essenza👍👍

Awe okay! Thank you :) Good to know 🙌🏼🙌🏼 sometimes the foam can get overwhelming especially if you brew 7 oz and you have frothed milk and then it spills everywhere 🥴

I love the chiaro pod so far but I’m still tasting them cuz I just got a big order on pods but another one is buenos aires it’s a lingo but it’s good

I knew it!! I’m so excited that you have both machines now! I would love to have a creatista but I just can’t justify spending that much for a machine. I have a pixie- actually I have two pixies and two Vertuo. Got them for such a good price I couldn’t resist having them as back ups. I now realize these machines last forever and I may never use them! I am excited to see your upcoming videos :). I purchased two CnGlass 8 oz double walled mugs from Amazon. Perfect for making lattes from OL capsules. Oh and I just followed you on Instagram. I had such a hard time creating an account.

Haha yes! I’m so excited too, I’m happy to have my mini. Ugh I know!!! I’m with you! It’s so much money. But it’s so cool that we get to have these machines to try the OL capsules. How do you like the pixie? Do you prefer your pixie or vertuo?! I’ll have to get new mugs 🥰 Awe haha that’s so cute thank you! You will get the hang of it in no time.

I actually prefer my Vertuo. I use my Pixie maybe 1-2 times / week. That being said, it’s probably because in the winter I like a big cup of hot coffee. But now with warmer months ahead, I may start liking and using the Pixie more for making iced lattes. I just ordered a few OL sleeves so we’ll see.....

Very helpful video, thanks! My red Nespresso essenza mini just arrived a few days ago. I’m in love! I’ve read that the original capsules are closer to an authentic Italian espresso, which has less crema and a bolder taste than the Vertuo.

I got my vertuo last week because here in Spain we only had the “normal “ one. I’m keeping both because the coffee is different and the tiny capsules we can find everywhere in other brands, the vertuo you can only find at Nespresso. Even Aldi has their own compatible capsules 😅

I only have a OL i only like lattes and the taste of espresso. OL has way more options for that than the VL
