Unboxing of extra detailing sets for Trumpeter CV-6 USS Enterprise 1/200

Жыл бұрынIn this video you will see that you can get extra planes from Trumpeter, at least the F4F-4 Wildcats and TBD-1 Devastator, crew from KA/Tori Factory and detailing set for the planes from KA-models. Some thoughts around the hull plating details (that is lacking from the Trumpeter hull in the kit).

I'll be interested to see/hear your comments when you get to the planes. Will you prefer working with the stand-alone MK/KA extra detailing kit OR what Pontos supplies as part as their advanced kit.

What a great channel! Came over from a suggestion from Nigel and glad I did. The Dauntless SBD's are available from Trumpeter too. That KA set is fantastic.

I shy away from aircraft carriers as building and especially painting the planes is such a chore! That said I would love for you to build and I can exorcise my fantasy through you 😂

There is a hook called legends of warfare uss Enterprise by David Doyle. It is a really good reference book.

Yes I already have that one, and it is really good, but I hope the one that I am waiting for will shed even more light on the ship structure. Let’s see, but thanks for the tip 👍

@@NorwegianModellingBench I have the USS Wisconsin book. I am building the Tamiya 1/350 Missouri circa 1991 that I got the Pontos USS Wisconsin upgrade kit.
