I've actually printed one of your rats from the last rats set you did. Haven't got around to painting it yet, but as a super fan of the rats they were definitely my style!

They told me that they are having a bit of of a delay in getting them onto the website currently. So they are coming, but mine was just an example print for now.

The method I think is good. It's a huge advancement in speed painting that most everyone can achieve, kind of like 'dip' was before it....but the name...it's only a matter of time till some company names some paint line after it and then I really cringe 😬

I'm honestly surprised more companies aren't offering this by now. with the right minis and the right prices, they could make some serious in-roads against certain other large mini companies.

I believe they were still working on getting it into the store when they sent the one I got so maybe they're still not up and running. There was only 7 models that would be available as colour prints at the beginning I believe.

I ordered them right from the source and got them from Green Stuff World. But for an in Canada source it looks like Tista Minis carries them: tistaminis.com/collections/green-stuff-world-paints/dipping-ink I've never ordered from them yet though, but they seem like they'd be a reliable source. At least they say when they're sold out of something online which is a good sign.

I got mine through different channels. But one thing I didn't mention in the video was that they have a lead time of 5 days. So it can take up to 5 days to get the parts made before being shipped out. Then shipping might take time based on location. I'm in Canada so I knew mine might take a bit.

I don't completely disagree, but it said satin on the bottle, might just be that it covers the colour resin differently as well, like the matte does.

@@PaintmanJourneying It would help if you had actually given it a satin varnish rather than using a satin medium. While technically a satin (more so a matte or gloss) medium works, varnish is a little bit less strong and does ironically a better job of the intended effect. I'm sure you've heard of matt varnishes creating a gloss before, it's the same principle, too much of something can have an opposite effect with certain products. The resin as far as I know shouldn't really matter at all, so long as it doesn't have any residue left on it. (edit: actually it could matter in one way, if it's surface was very flat aka glossy it wouldn't hold the varnish/medium well on it but that'd showcase as areas being not right compared to others, there's a reason most primers are matte or satin, the surface is rougher therefore paints/mediums/etc latch on easier.)
