Thanks for the review! I’m definitely considering this camera because its impressive zoom capabilities and manual mode (especially since my iPhone 12 doesn’t have a telephoto lens) I may ultimately opt for a slightly more expensive camera with better specs, but I’m definitely intrigued by this one :)

It takes very good pictures, and the 20 mega pixels allow you to crop way into a picture and still look good. The pictures look much better on a computer monitor or printed. The camera screen doesn't do it justice!

It's a good camera. 8.0/10. But, it has cons I didn't like but still a overall good camera. Sony knows how to make great electronic products this is no exception.

Nice review bro! I found this camera at my local Target for $199. I am debating on if I should get it because I already have an expensive iPhone 12 that takes solid photos and videos, but I always wanted a handheld camera but not too expensive. Do you think it’s still worth a buy?

If you have an iPhone 12, in my opinion you have better camera in your pocket. But if you want a dedicated camera for small photography project then you can invest. Video quality on this camera is really poor 720p. Your iPhone has 4K and Ibis.

@@APTechsThanks bro for your recommendation! Your right I would rather keep my iPhone 12 camera since it has 4K 60fps video and excellent photo quality already! Maybe what I’ll do is skip this Sony camera for now, use my iPhone 12, and save up for a more expensive camera down the road a camera that will be 10 times better than this one. Maybe next years IPhone 14’s camera will be even crazier I could only imagine 😏

Agreed. iPhone 13 pro has some enhanced camera features but it’s not worth upgrade from 12 though. So iPhone 14 will be good option at this stage. If you want to have dedicated camera for KZfaq and life blog etc, it’s worth looking at sonny a6300 or a6400. It’s mid range and also powerful.

Hi, I would not recommend this camera for KZfaq as it’s targeted for photography. I think it’s worth looking at a5100 or a6000. I have also recently unboxed Sony a7c which is compact professional camera for both photo and video.

The image has been colour graded. I would suggest Sony a7c as alternative camera.

It depends on what you plan to use it for. It produces great photo but not video. Your smartphone could probably do better video that this camera. Suggestion camera would be Sony a6000 or a5100 if you have a lower budget

I gave this camera away. At the front of the lens should have diameter size and you buy Sony lens cap from Amazon.

I agree with you. Photo quality is great but if you have one of the latest smartphones like iPhone 12 or 13, you do not need a budget camera unless your looking to have a dedicated camera. My iPhone 13 Pro produces better image quality.

Yes it’s from the camera but edited. Video quality is poor, especially is dark areas. This camera has decent picture quality.

Reset the camera to manufactures setting if possible. Replace the battery and memory card too

I’ve had this happen and come to find out the lens cover was still on. Once you remove it you should be good to go.

Well it depends on your skills. This camera is budget friendly so it will not delivery professional quality. Most of the smartphones can deliver similar results unless your looking for a dedicated camera for work. Can you make money of it? To be honest I don’t know. Let me know when you find out?
