No joke, this is the video I've been waiting for. A fun toy unboxing and review of an item for a diehard by a diehard fan as big as me. I collected the world of Springfield line religiously and as much as I loved the treehouse of horror set from toys r us (I worked there) it was undersized and not perfect. These are exactly the figures we deserved and honestly $75 each is cheaper than what the old playmates ones really deliver in value in the aftermarket. Well done sir. Your channel is simply the best.

Also im with you on the Deep cut niche figures, I'd rather have them than the basic family. So many people said horrible things like, "they didn't put out the core family!!! Thats why they lost the license!" No one knows why, they just project their own criticism. Their Krusty figure is probably one of my favorite figures of all time.

Love, love, love these figures. I ordered them from BBTS but much to my dismay the Maggie figure was missing from my Kang box! Luckily I snapped a few pics and sent it to BBTS, they immediately sent me AN ENTIRE NEW KANG FIGURE!!! with a Maggie this time.

I'm with you all they way, brother. Super7 knocked it out of the park with the Ultimates. I'm selective too, and I love how the animated characters look like they jumped right out of an animation cel. A lot of love went into the Ultimates.

My favorite Simpsons characters I need in figure form is Milhouse,, Krusty, Ralph, chef Wiggin, Mr Smithers , Sexy Flangers. Regular Flangers, itchy and scratch, and Robo Itchy and scratchy, the list goes on…..but these are my favorite 😂😂😂😂

Super7 has encountered significant quality control issues in the past, and these issues persist across other product lines. Their pre-orders often rely on renders rather than actual prototypes, leading to final products that consistently disappoint. Paint applications are generally basic and sloppy, while articulation quality leaves much to be desired. These figures are not regarded as high-end collectible art toys; instead, they are characterized as simplistic and poorly crafted, yet they are priced at a premium.

Yeah…totally disagree but I appreciate you talking at me 🫡, everyone has their own feelings. I see rare toys that no one else is making with specific deep cut choices as “art toys” because they are not mainstream. Quality is up and down but honestly I see that everywhere. So I don’t always hold that against a company unless it’s with like a majority of things I’ve ordered, which has not been my experience here

Agreed. Their TMNT line was riddled with QC issues. Their Silverhawks line was a disappointment. I’ve never seen figures go on clearance so quickly. But I still ended up getting Kang and Kodos only because I was able to get them at a discounted price using an influencer coupon.

Huge disagree, the quality of the Simpsons line is fantastic and is high end collectible especially Kang and Kodos.

Great video man! So happy you finally got those figures. Your story was pretty funny. I kind of agree with your sentiments. I think they were done in by their choice of figures. Should have been more balanced between the more popular characters as well as the more deep cuts.

Yeah I agree, the deep cuts are essential but sprinkling the main characters in quicker and then branching off those I think would’ve pleased more different types of fans 🤷🏻♂️

I had no idea this line was cancelled. No doubt due to the current economy. What a shame. Hopefully during the next economic boom, there will be more of everything for the fans

Apparently Super7 & Disney did not see eye to eye on how to proceed with the Line, Brian at Super7 said the Simpsons people were great but something was off with Disney, he didn't say what, I imagine Disneys expectations were not aligned with what Super7 wanted to do, too bad.
