It's my first nitro buggy I built and got running, have had a few and I changed my mind and never build them. Havent got to race my first nitro race, but it will be soon .... tax time getting a serpent srx8 Pro nitro! Will be running a Reds r5r in that, all new, can't wait! I have a 3.0 with reds wr7 D.E it is a great engine! Prettt easy to tune, runs strong! Great video brother!

I have the same RTR kyosho 1/8 scale I got mine running fine it's been sitting for at least 1 year piston at dead botton befour I parted it engine coming out to clean & lube it up! 😊😊 bought my kyosho at Amain Hobby and ONLY deal with them great service.!!👌💯

@BBowenRC if the clips drive you nuts bro, you should out my trick. All you need is cable ties and fuel tubing. .1 tighten one tie on too the clip .2 cut a piece of fuel tubing about 1-2cm long(or too your liking) and slide it down the tie attached to the clip .3 slide a second tie down to first until it sits snug on the tubing, then just trim the ties back to the nub and boom! Your welcome!

Hey, I have the same car but I have some starting issues, when I start it it revs really high and I tried to make adjustments but it just did not work out. what are your carburator stettings?

I've got the red and black RTR TKI3 and it goes great after running it in. Definitely a big step up after the MP7.5 based US Sports series buggies. I don't get what the big deal is about phillips head screws though, I'd much prefer them over Allen/hex head screws.

How has the engine been? I have a traxxas nitro sport, have not done anymaintanence to it in 2 years, I drive it about 3 times a week, I'm used to my nitro engine being very durable, meaning my nitro engine still has the stock 2 year old glow plug! Is the engine like this? Meaning it's maintance free just like my nitro sport?

I've been w/ Nitro from the start. HPI Rs4, took a long hiatus, been back in it w/ a Traxxas Nitro Sport, recent;y upgraded to a TRX 2.5R and tuned pipe.. The thing is waay too fast. lol I've been looking for a serious track car to move away from these cute Traxxas ones..

Fuck Nitro. I bought a HSP Backwash from AliExpress and it's in transit. It was until recently I discovered that these stupid junks don't have a simple reverse. A car without reverse!? I wish I could return the damn thing and get a JLB or VKAR Bison, even FS racing Maraduar instead. Money waste. I'm not wasting any money on that thing.
