In this video me and Matt unbox the long overdue Robinson Crusoe Collectors Edition by Portal Games in collaboration with Awaken Realms.
We start with an overview of the saga of this particular game, and then open up everything and take a look at the minis, the components and then we follow it up with a general discussion on the art design and production quality.

Jeez, that's a chunky box! I hope it's worth the wait! I can't (totally can) believe the review bombing, it's so unnecessary. I've even seen it before on retail sites, giving low scores for the bad customer service rather than actually reviewing the product! Looking forward to playing the game 😃

It's absolutely ridiculous isn't it? I'm not sure what people get out of it other than just a vent of frustration, which let's be honest, is completely asinine. I can't wait to play it dude! It's been a long ass wait :D

Environmental friendly packaging is a great thing, but not a single paper bag will last as long as one of these additional plastic baggies you got with your copy of the game. Some publishers seem to overdo with "ecofriendly" production.

I'll be honest, I backed this before I started to get a bit more picky with my choices and I'd much rather too much than not enough when it comes to environmentally conscious decisions. It's a tough balance with cost versus benefit and practicality versus aspiration. Interesting discussion point perhaps for another video
