It features the combination of ES-335 and Trini Lopez model features Dave requested and that fans expect, including a semi-hollow ES body with bound diamond-shaped sound holes, a one-piece mahogany neck with an elliptical profile, Trini Lopez-style headstock with Grover® Mini Rotomatic tuners, laurel fretboard, and split diamond inlays. The pickups are Dave’s preferred Gibson USA Burstbucker™ models, with a Burstbucker 2 in the neck and a Burstbucker 3 in the bridge position. They’re wired to CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch and 1/4” output jack. Dagan recommended the Epiphone Alex Lifeson. Failed to mention the nut was too wide for the fingerboard. Bloody strings slipped of the side of the frets. Had to mod it myself with a smaller nut and shims.

I don't know my way around buying guitars, but given this is an epiphone, can we expect this 335 to be produced in such amount it ever won't be a problem to buy one or is it gonna be just like the original Gibson DG335?

I’ve watch a few channels that review this guitar and so far the word on the street is that this guitar will be in production for awhile. It’s not a limited release. With that said, it’s highly popular and sold out. But production has not stopped. More on there way.

Just looked up the order status at a local music store. "This product is out of stock at our supplier. They are projecting to have stock on July 30th, 2024. I personally do not like hollow body guitars or semi hollow. Nothing against the guitar, just not for me. Epiphone knocked it out the park on this one. The only thing I would change is to flip the headstock and have bevels on it. I am a Thunderbird fan after all.

Made in china and it's the same price as like 3 amazing Solar guitars or 3 Mexico Fenders. Lol😂. It's worth about half the asking price. Gibson pickups and a hardcase don't add up to $3299aud.
