Unboxing scalemodel: Ferrari F40 LM 1/8 GT Spirit
After the red and blue Ferrari F40 GT Spirit announced the F40 LM in scale 1/8. And finally the car is available. I ordered mine in 2020. After waiting for a year today was the day. Thanks to JSN in Riel I can watch the 1/8 Ferrari F40 LM of GT Spirit in real live in stead of at a picture.
I prefer the regular F40. The details are better. And I don’t understand why GT Spirit choose fort he gray plate. The F40 has a black one and I think that for a collector the same bottum is also important.

Prachtig Sjoerd. Ik had de niet LM versie in Rood 1:8 van GT Spirit 2 jaar in bezit. Nog iedere dag spijt van dat ik hem na 2 jaar verkocht, had ik nooit moeten doen. De moraal van dit verhaal; vooral in je bezit houden Sjoerd !

Ik heb de F40 ook, zelfs in 1:100, 1:64, 1:87, 1:43, 1:18 en 1:12. Je zult begrijpen, de F40 zit diep. De F40 LM vind ik mooi, vandaar de tweede 1:8. Hij staat in de huiskamer om lekker van te genieten.

@@SjoerdVanBilsen Ik begrijp het helemaal dat die liefde diep zit bij je, goed zeg! De liefde bij mij begon toen mijn vader voor Auto Select werkte en de F40 daar in 1989 op een open dag aanwezig was. Met het model in bezit kon ik vanuit mn stoel een hele tijd maar blijven kijken naar de F40, die auto gaat werkelijk nooit vervelen.

I originally purchased the 1/8 Hachette F40 LM because its had opening features and added detail...Assembled it after two years of painful and frustrating subscription issues and fitment woes. haven't opened it up or looked at it since. Got the Street GT Spirit F40 and now that sits in the prime spot.

For that price and scale, it should be better detailed imo. But I like the rest of your collection.

Difícil achar a 1/8 mas a 1/18 está em torno de 2 mil no ML. Acredito que essa 1/8 passa dos 4 mil, ainda mais sendo a F40 LM Edition.
