Hello my friends. It's winter again and prices of electricity and gas are going up. This and the constant issues with our central heating lead to getting our first Smart Infrared Panel. It is a nice device with a very good design and a premium quality. It can be controlled from an iOS or Android app remotely. On top of that it is very economical. It can heat a whole 30 square meter room with only 700 watts.

Hi, thanks for the vid. It would be nice to hear your experience after using it for a few nights; I've just bought this heater and it can not heat up a 12m2 room to more than 20 degrees, no matter if it's on constant heating. What have your experience been so far?

So far I'm very satisfied with the heater. But I must say that I live in an apartment and my flat is well insulated and has south exposure so when the sun is up it is really hot. The outside temperature varies but even at -5 Celsius it managed to heat the room up to 24 degrees. The room is 20 square meters and has only one outside wall other walls are internal. If you have problems check form the app if the limit of the panel surface temperature is set too low. By default it is set to 120 degrees celsius but It can be set to 90. This is helpful to prevent burns on pets and children but limits the output of the device.

Hello Nikola! Could you please tell us about the electricity bills at the end of the month of using the heater? Now I'm looking for a different methods of heating for my house, and I'm very interested in this infrared heaters. Thank you in advise! :)

I can’t really tell about ut the bills for certain. Last winter was pretty mild and the bills were half of what I usually pay but I don’t know if it was because of the heater. Also electricity prices go up and down around here. I think you should get one or two to try and if you are satisfied you can scale up.

Yep we currently live in an apartment and it’s fairly well insulated so in mild winters it did manage to heat the whole Living Room which is 20 sqmeters.

Also the app for iOS is very simple and works great. From there I can see that the panel consumed 300 kwh for the last winter and this November.

Hi Nikola, did you manage to compare the watt consumption vs heat comfort against other heating that you have? Is it uncomfortable to be like 2 meters Infront of the heater?

It draws about 720 watts according to it’s own app. I haven’t yet tried to measure it in any other way. The way it radiates heat is very pleasant and I personally can stand near it without problem even very close like 20-30 cm. 2 meters you barely feel the warmth but it manages to heat the 20 square meter room that we use it in. However we use it in an apartment building which is very well insulated.

What are your final conclusions after use? How is its efficiency and consumption. Does it really cover up to 30 square meters?

Last winter wasn't very cold. Coldest temperatures were -10 C. For apartments and well insulated rooms it works great. I really like it. I added some Apple Shortcuts to turn it on and off. It is small and looks good. The room that I'm heating is 20 sq.m. but it is well insulated. I've heard other people that they don't like it and it doesn't do a great job but for my setup it does.

What are you trying to heat up? This one is made for rooms of up to 20 square meters. Also it helps if the room is fairly well insulated. I use it in my apartment and my living room is about 20 square meters but is well insulated and the room is facing south.
