Hey just getting started on all of this portable pc stuff I’ve been wanting to purchase a gaming pc which we all know can be expensive I’ve recently ran into your channel which you’ve introduced me to the steam deck any tips or advice on what step I should take next

Well, if you're planning to get a Steam Deck, get a decently sized SD card and learn a bit of Linux first. Most of it is fairly easy actually but Linux can be a pain in the butt sometimes, especially with tinkering to get a game to work. You may want to consider installing Lutris to help out with playing some games. As for emulation, Steam Deck works astoundingly well. Aside from that...oh, you'll need to learn how to map controls on Desktop and Gaming mode on the Steam Deck. The control mapping is a pain in the butt tbh, especially in Desktop mode. That is all I can think of at this point.

I hate the button placement on this. And the fact that the speaker is on the back of the device. All the space is nice along with the price. But everything else is a no go for me.

Steam deck all day. I have win600 it's ok but. For the price no I wouldn't buy it again.

I don't think so at this price point, and it doesn't have the OLED screen.

Can you run Valorant and Overwatch on this (connected to monitor, keyboard and mouse of course)? I'll mostly be playing those two plus a lot of visual novels when it comes to PC games. The rest I can play on Switch.
