Today we are unboxing the CRAZIEST watch EVER featured on the channel!! The new Spinnaker Piccard is just out of this world!! Water resistant to 1.000m it is a tribute to the first descent down to Mariana Trench and the watch is styled like the Rolex Deep-sea that went down to 10.900m exactly 60 years ago, on January 23rd 1960.

Cool watch, despite the size, I would like to see/feel how it wears. The crystal is undoubtedly the star of the show, kinda reminds me the corum bubble watches.

If you went diving with this watch, a weight belt for buoyancy would not be needed! 😂 Looks like you could hammer nails with it. As fashionistas would say “ It is so far out , that it’s in” . Kudos to Spinnaker for being so bold. M.

Rolex did actually sell the stupidly huge domed version of the deep sea. It was limited and is a serious collectors only piece and it looks as stupid as you'd imagine.

Nice unboxing. When I first heard about it I thought it was a Star Trek Watch for the New Series. I had no idea who were the men who went down the trench. It’s interesting, but not something I would be interested in. A 1000m wr watch does not have to be anywhere near that think. I know Zelos is coming out with the Abyss 3 soon, its 3000m wr and is 20mm thick. This is more of a collector piece and is impractional to wear.

At least this is a purpose watch, so the size for this watch is understood because they are honoring an actual event. Unlike Invicta who went crazy making humungous watches because it was a fad, and they still hung on it instead of getting back to basics. Anyway, glad that is made of Titanium, because if they would have made it using marine bronze (most submariner equipments were made of this), then it would have weight a few pounds! Great unboxing!
