I feel like I need to give a bit of an update about the kit as I am building it right now. I found that there are a lot of badly placed ejector pin marks and a lot of seam lines on almost all of the parts. These kind of problems should be very rare, non-existent even, from such a big manufacturer like Italeri in 2023. So it is a bit of a let down personally that a kit that costs this much, feels lower in quality than kits like Kotare, Border Models, Takom, Tamiya, etc... who can produce almost immaculate kits with crisp detail, free from flashes, seam lines, ejection pin marks, etc... in the same price range or even cheaper. I don't want to discourage anyone from buying it, as it is still a great kit in my opinion, but it doesn't come close to some of the kits out there in this price bracket.

Someone once told me that "Italeri" is the Italian word for gaps and seams. And your update seems to confirm that 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I wouldn't worry about rivet detail, on the real aircraft they disappear from any distance at all when the aircraft is painted. You can only see riveting when you stand right next to it, and panel lines are only slightly more visible.

Version C is from the "limbo" period After the 1943 Italian armistice, but before they reformed as the Italian Co-Belligerent AF with roundels - All Fascist insignia were painted out (the Wings have empty circles and the Fasces on the fuselage were obscured and the House Of Savoy coat of arms deleted from the white cross on the tail. This period only lasted a few months at most. On the bright side, you could leave the markings 'Pre-armistice' as the right emblems are ALL on the decal sheet, and it would still be correct. This is a Kit I especially have wanted for a long time - I have the old 21st Century 1/32 kit of both the C202 and C205 - which are more like a toy, but have really nice decals and are basically accurate in shape, but the detailing is rather crude and sometimes overscale in the finer parts.

I bought it too and I think it is a wonderful model, the riveting is quite tricky since on the real plane you can see a tiny tiny tiny amount of riveting, in particular around the white band of the fuselage, but the rivets have plate top parts so they cannot be seen except from extremely close... I do not know if it is worth redoing them by hand or not. Excellent video!

it is way too expensive for what it offers. The molding quality seems pretty disappointing compared to other manufacturer's offerings in this scale.
