This is not the latest Apple iPad, but it is faster than I thought. It has a great screen and it holds a charge pretty well kzfaq.infoUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U . I was concerned that it would not be powerful enough because I have several older iPads that are slow and cannot update to the latest software. But this 10th Gen has the speed and power. I do not use it for video editing, so having an M2 processor is not necessary for me. This iPad model has an A14 processor. So far so good. Glad I bought it. It helps having a larger screen compared to my Apple phone.

The three dots at the back of the ipad is for your case. It connects to a keyboard case. So if you want to buy a keyboard case for your ipad thats how to connect it❤️

if you want a MacBook I would recommend looking out for super good deals on them, I got mine for almost 550 off of the regular price!

Just imagine when you can afford one yourself, Apple will be on a better version of the iPad or have something else that is more awesome! When I was a lot younger I wanted the iMac G3 Lime. IPad wasn't even a thing. Several years later when I had my own money I bought my first iMac in 2006.

Congrats on your new iPad Julia! I recently got mine as well though I've yet to open it. I decided to wait until my screen protectors arrive (they will get to me Sunday Yay!). As for those dots, I think those are the charging connectors for cases with a keyboard. iPad owners please correct me if I'm wrong. Hope this helps! :)

It’s always interesting to see why other people get the 12.9 version of the iPad Pro. I have one and essentially use it as my computer away from my MacBook Pro. I’m a software engineer and essentially only use my MacBook for that while my iPad is for everything else. Content consumption, video and audio editing, web browsing, note taking, emails and such. Congrats on your new iPad. I hope you enjoy it.

Julia, I purchased my iPad Pro totally impromptu purchase. I was stuck in traffic, it was not moving, I happen to be in front of Best Buy. Figured I’d kill some time. love my Apple products. So I just walked over to look and see. Of course you have a sales person watching you. I have been watching digital planning for months. Really wanted one of these. They had one that was returned from Christmas that wasn’t even set up. Someone got a gift that they didn’t want so they just brought it back and they had to sell it as used. it was awesome, perfect. Yep I bought it! So I know how you feel. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am enjoying mine.

Hi Julia! It might be too late for this but... Try not to get a matte screen protector because it ruins the tip of the Apple pen overtime. The tempered glass screen protector is a lot smoother, and easier to see through so try and get one of those! Love you and your videos Julia! ❤️❤️❤️

Many of the reviews I have read say that there are very few differences. Off the top of my head; It's the same chip just slightly enhanced and they called it A12Z chip as opposed to A12X chip, base model storage is 128GB instead of 64GB, the RAM is 6GB but only 4GB is available to software engineers so won't make a difference for things such as having extra layers in Procreate. There is a LIDAR camera which most people will rarely use, and an additional camera which is ultra wide angle, an improved microphone and wifi 6 which will only benefit you if you have the correct type of router. I am about to get 12.9, 2020, 256GB model as my first Ipad.

I often hear people encouraging others to 'never wait for technology' and I have read stories of people who waited for the 2020 model, only to find out after purchasing it, that the extra £100 they paid, and time spent waiting, left them feeling underwhelmed due to the device not meeting their expectations. I remember reading that many customers felt the 'differences in upgrade were negligible' and people were upset ☹ due to the appearance and positioning of the LIDAR camera. Personally I think they all look nice. Especially the silver colour looks really nice, and clean maybe less prone to fingerprint and grease marks.
